Un incendio afectó una carpintería abandonada en barrio Hernández
El fuego se declaró en la planta alta y fue descubierto por una persona que vive en el fondo de la casa y por un vecino.
Una casa de dos plantas que se encuentra deshabitada tomó fuego en la tarde-noche de este lunes. El siniestro se declaró en calle Colón al 1600, lugar donde otrora funcionara una carpintería. La vivienda, que se encuentra sin moradores y a decir de vecinos es utilizada para almacenar distintos elementos en desuso, se incendió cerca de las 19.51.
Al lugar concurrió una dotación de bomberos voluntarios con una unidad de primer ataque. Los servidores públicos debieron trabajar denodadamente entre la oscuridad y la altura de la vivienda para extinguir el incendio.
El fuego se declaró en la planta alta y aparentemente fue descubierto por una persona que vive en los fondos de la casa y por un vecino que fue quien alertó a los bomberos.
Carlos Ferrero, propietario del inmueble, se mostró extrañado por lo ocurrido: "No me lo explico, no hay electricidad, no hay nada que pueda haber provocado el fuego, el muchacho que vive atrás fue quien advirtió lo que pasaba, incluso él con unos baldes intentó apagar el fuego", señaló a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO.
Marcos, quien ocupa la vivienda colindante, contó que alcanzó a ver las llamas. "Me subí al techo de mi casa y desde allí comencé a arrojar agua con baldes, mi miedo es que el fuego se propagara hacia mi casa, llamé a los bomberos y la policía, cuando llegaron nos pidieron que dejáramos la casa por precaución, lo saqué a mi tío que es mayor pero yo no quería dejar la vivienda sola por precaución", explicó. Tras casi una hora de labor, los bomberos lograron sofocar el fuego y realizaron la inspección del lugar.
Hace tiempo funcionaba en esa casa una carpintería que fue presa de las llamas en el mediodía del jueves 23 de junio de 2013. En aquella ocasión el incendio se desató cerca de las 13.30 y le demandó a los bomberos cinco horas de intensa labor para extinguirlo.
