Temporal: continuaban los trabajos de ordenamiento urbano
Luego de actuar en intervenciones de estricta emergencia, cuadrillas municipales realizaron este lunes intensos trabajos de limpieza y arreglos. ¿Cuánto llovió?: 67,3 milímetros en solo 45 minutos, informó la Estación Climatológica de UTN.
Hoy lunes, la municipalidad de San Francisco continuó con el operativo de emergencia tras el temporal de fuertes vientos y lluvia torrencial con tareas para restablecer y dejar en condiciones normales los espacios donde en la noche del domingo se produjeron voladuras parciales de techos, carteles, caída de árboles, calles anegadas, entre otros.
Desde el Comité de Crisis, encabezado por el intendente Damián Bernarte, bomberos voluntarios, Defensa Civil, funcionarios municipales, concejales y voluntarios siguieron recorriendo los barrios siendo el sector más afectado Plaza San Francisco.
También se supervisó el estado de los canales de desagües y lagunas de retardo. El secretario de Servicios Púbicos Hobey Salvático ratificó que no hubo vecinos evacuados.
"Fue una situación poco común aunque no tanto para este mes, porque diciembre siempre es un mes complicado en cuanto a la alta intensidad de lluvia en poco tiempo", dijo el funcionario en diálogo con la prensa.
Desde la Estación Climatológica de la Facultad Regional San Francisco de la UTN informaron que el domingo cayeron 67,3 milímetros de lluvia en solo 45 minutos.
"No hubo familias evacuadas, aunque sí tenemos conocimiento que algunas se autoevacuaron, fueron trasladadas por familiares a otro domicilio por el ingreso de agua en su casa", agregó.
Tras el temporal, cuadrillas municipales trabajaron en distintos sectores de la ciudad.
Salvático, que además es el jefe del cuerpo activo de Bomberos Voluntarios, indicó que "en el cuartel recibimos el pedido de ayuda de personas que habían quedad atrapada en sus vehículos que por el agua quedaron detenidos en la calle, pero esas situaciones se resolvieron con rapidez. También asistimos a personas mayores que debían trasladarse a otros puntos de la ciudad y brindamos apoyo a los servicios de emergencias médicas que debían trasladar gente y las condiciones de anegamientos complicaba esa tarea".
"La zona más afectada fue la de Plaza San Francisco con voladura de techos y árboles caídos", reconoció.
Sobre los trabajos del día después de la tormenta, Salvatico dijo que "accionaron distintas cuadrillas municipales, como Espacios Verdes, para la tala y retiro de los árboles caídos. Le dimos prioridad a los lugares más propensos a que ocurra un accidente", como avenida Maipú y otros accesos a la ciudad.
También "se realizó un recorrido por calles de tierra, las que soportaron bien esta intensa lluvia, siendo que las zonas más afectadas fueron donde se están ejecutando obras de pavimentación".
Por otra parte, "los canales de desagüe funcionario muy bien, donde el agua evacuó, pese a que el abundante milimetraje caído hizo que demorara más en drenar", indicó Salvático.
Y detalló que "los canales presentan una suciedad de arrastre propia de la correntada: bolsas, botellas, todo aquello que queda tirado en la calle o en un minibasural. Es permanente el mantenimiento de los canales, de hecho, en época invernal se contrató maquinar específica para limpiar todos los canales grandes, como el del camino interprovincial, el de calle Caseros, de Avellaneda. Se retiraron las pantas que crecen en el interior del canal".
El viento provocó la caída de algunos árboles.
Asimismo, Salvático aseguró que la municipalidad "viene trabajando en el tema de los eucaliptos" que pueden implicar un verdadero riesgo en sectores como avenida Maipú, por ejemplo. "Muchos de esos árboles son cortados a una altura de 40 o 50 centímetros cuando hay peligro de derrumbe. Sin embargo, no es una tarea sencilla y que podamos hacer diariamente. No se puede deforestar por deforestar, es un trabajo que se realiza de acuerdo a la peligrosidad y la necesidad de los vecinos y usuarios de esos sectores".
También en la región: en El Arañado se derrumbó una vivienda
El fuerte temporal de lluvia y viento que se desató en nuestra región el domingo, provocó en la localidad de El Arañado el derrumbe total de una vivienda.
Tres dotaciones de bomberos voluntarios de Las Varillas se hicieron presentes en el domicilio de calle Deán Funes 479.
Tres mascotas de la familia moradora de la vivienda perdieron la vida a raíz del derrumbe. Se debió apuntalar parte del techo, también se retiraron los escombros de un entrepiso de madera.
La vivienda quedó totalmente inhabitable debido al deterioro que sufrió el techo, por lo que los bomberos junto a vecinos del lugar procedieron a retirar parte del mobiliario propiedad de esta familia.
Además, en la localidad se produjo la caída varios árboles y postes de energía eléctrica y telefonía.
En la emergencia trabajaron bomberos de Las Varillas, persona de la Cooperativa de Energía Eléctrica de la localidad y personal policial y municipal.
