River y Colón van por la copa en Santiago del Estero
River Plate, que procura sumar su tercer título de la temporada con la alegría de la continuidad asegurada del entrenador Marcelo Gallardo, jugará este sábado la final del Trofeo de los Campeones con Colón de Santa Fe, que sueña con superar al poderoso y alcanzar la segunda estrella de su historia.

La final se jugará en el Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, en Santiago del Estero, este sábado a partir de las 21.10, será televisado por Fox Sports y TNT Sports, y arbitrado por Patricio Loustau, asistido por Juan Pablo Belatti y Maximiliano Del Yesso.
En esta final, a diferencia de la que Boca le ganó a Talleres por la Copa Argentina hace una semana, si empatan habrá alargue de 30 minutos y de seguir la igualdad se recurrirá a la definición en serie de penales.
El ganador de este Trofeo de los Campeones se asegura la chance de disputar la final de la Supercopa Argentina ante Boca, que ganó la mencionada Copa Argentina.
Esta copa se juega entre el campeón de la Liga Profesional (LPF), River, y el vencedor de la Copa de la Liga, Colón, que superó a Racing en la final por 3 a 0 en San Juan.
Este Trofeo de los Campeones tiene como único antecedente el ganado por Racing, dirigido por Eduardo Coudet, en 2019, ante Tigre, con Néstor Gorosito como DT, al vencer en Mar del Plata por 2 a 0.
En este 2021 River también festejó la obtención de la Supercopa Argentina superando por 5 a 0 en marzo pasado a Racing en la final celebrada en Catamarca, por lo tanto el "Millonario" va por su tercer título en el año.
