Rescataron a un parapentista sanfrancisqueño perdido en un cerro en La Rioja
El deportista estaba perdido desde del sábado cuando tuvo que hacer un aterrizaje forzoso en una zona de muy difícil acceso en el Cerro La Cruz, de la provincia de la Rioja. Se necesitaron 12 horas de caminata para rescatarlo
El parapentista sanfrancisqueño, Sebastián Baggio fue rescatado el domingo a la tarde tras estar dos días perdido en un sector inaccesible del Cerro de la Cruz, en la provincia de La Rioja.
Los rescatistas debieron caminar 12 horas para llegar al lugar donde se encontraba el joven, luego que éste debiera realizar un aterrizaje forzoso el pasado sábado en una zona conocida por ser de muy difícil acceso.
En declaraciones a AM 1050, Baggio relató que estaba volando normal en el Cerro de la Cruz a 3400 metros de altura. "Cuando empiezo a volver hacia el valle comencé a quedar muy bajo y para no comerme un torbellino de viento que generan las mismas cortinas bajas de la montaña, que eso me podía hacer caer al piso y golpearme y hacer un desastre, decidí tirarme hacia atrás del cerro para aterrizar sano, en esa tirada el viento me tomó y me llevó unos 20 kilómetros hacia adentro, relató".
"Esa noche dormí ahí, me subí arriba de un monte, prendí un fuego para que me pudieran ver y el domingo comencé a ver que estaban realizando sobrevuelos y me pudieron localizar", agregó.
El sitio La Rioja Virtual indicó que el sanfrancisqueño fue encontrado en perfecto estado de salud en una quebrada al cual la policía logró acceder tras casi 12 horas de caminata por especialistas de montaña. "Fue traído en caballo ya que estaba muy cansado, pero la novela terminó con final feliz", indicó el portal de noticias riojano.
