Presentaron un libro sobre Malvinas en Brinkmann
La obra de Juan Cruz Castiñeiras es autofinanciada y recopila los testimonios de muchos veteranos de la guerra que contaron cómo fue la vuelta a casa después del conflicto bélico y las consecuencias que dejó en sus vidas.
El escritor Juan Cruz Castiñeiras visitó la ciudad de Brinkmann para presentar el libro "Operación olvido, la post guerra de Malvinas" que es de su autoría.
Un buen marco de público asistió a la sala "José Serafín Pagani" para conocer más sobre el autor y la obra que está enfocada en los sucesos posteriores al conflicto bélico que atravesó el país en 1982, previo a la recuperación de la democracia.
En el acto también estuvo el intendente Gustavo Tévez junto con otros funcionarios municipales e instituciones sociales que participaron de la presentación y debate.
"Son hechos no muy conocidos de la post guerra de Malvinas. Se trata de distintos relatos de ex combatientes que muy amablemente me han contado su historia", afirmó Castiñeiras durante la presentación.
"La guerra de Malvinas no debe ser vista como un simple hecho histórico pasado".
Un libro para no olvidar
El escritor, oriundo de Buenos Aires, decidió enfocar el tema a partir de los relatos personales de sobrevivientes de la guerra en la que hubo 649 soldados fallecidos y que algunos no se identificaron aun. "Para quienes volvieron al continente representó una etapa dura la vuelta", aclaró Castiñeiras ya que "a muchos se les diagnosticó depresión, estrés post traumático y muchos otros se quitaron la vida".
Esto desde su perspectiva fue "porque no contaron nunca con el apoyo del Estado ni político ni tampoco desde las Fuerzas Armadas".
"En muchos lugares sufren la indiferencia de sus compatriotas y por ese motivo culminan con su vida", añadió Castiñeiras y dijo en este sentido: "La guerra de Malvinas no debe ser vista como un simple hecho histórico pasado sino presente valorando a los veteranos y lo que atravesaron".
El intendente, al finalizar la disertación y el debate, hizo entrega a Castiñeiras de un recuerdo de la ciudad y valoró el trabajo del autor ya que se trata de un proyecto que es autofinanciado y que lo llevó a recorrer el país para presentarlo "como homenaje a los veteranos".
