Prepara su tercera defensa mientras lo observan desde Estados Unidos
José Acevedo viajará próximamente a Santa Fe para intensificar su preparación con miras al combate en el que expondrá el cinturón argentino ligero el 26 de febrero en la FAB, mientras la empresa Top Rank habría mostrado interés en sus servicios.
José "Chinito" Acevedo se encuentra entrenando de cara a la defensa del título argentino ligero que realizará el 26 de febrero en la Federación Argentina de Box (FAB) en Buenos Aires, combate que seguirá preparando en Santa Fe en los próximos días, según comentó su entrenador, Juan Carlos Aguirre quien a la vez anunció la posibilidad de que su pupilo pueda seguir su carrera en Estados Unidos bajo la órbita de la promotora Top Rank.

En diálogo con LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO, el "coach" brindó detalles de la que será la tercera defensa de su dirigido tras aquellos éxitos ante Huenchul y Montesino. "La pelea que el "Chinito" iba a hacer el 20 defendiendo su título argentino la postergaron para el 26 en la Federación y será ante el juninense Nicolás de León".
"Para preparar esa pelea nos vamos a trasladar a Santa Fe, allá trabajaremos en el Club Colón, en el gimnasio de José Lemos. Es un buen lugar porque vamos a contar con varios sparring que le ayudarán al "Chinito" a alcanzar mayor precisión y eficacia", indicó.

Club La Milka
Claro que la estadía en la capital santafesina le demandará un importante costo económico, razón por lo cual recibió el apoyo de la dirigencia del Club La Milka que organizó una cena para recaudar fondos que se realizará el próximo viernes.
"Quiero agradecer públicamente a la gente del Club La Milka que armó esta movida con la cena para recaudar fondos que se hará el viernes que viene en sus instalaciones y que nos servirá para ir a Santa Fe, allá también otros amigos están haciendo gestiones para no tener tantos gastos", resaltó.

Finalmente, Aguirre reveló la probabilidad de que Acevedo pueda continuar su carrera en Estados Unidos. "La gente de la Top Rank que preside Bob Arum está interesada de hacerle la carrera en Las Vegas y yo creo que sería una muy buena oportunidad para el "Chinito", si se da sería transitar por el camino de "Martillo" Roldán cuando la Top Rank lo promocionaba en Estados Unidos".
