Pirotecnia cero: desde Bomberos piden que se cumpla la ordenanza
El jefe del cuerpo activo de bomberos, Hobey Salvático alertó sobre la importancia de que se cumpla la ordenanza a la que también adhirió el municipio de Frontera.
"En estas Fiestas, divertite sin lastimar a otros", con este lema los bomberos voluntarios reafirmaron el compromiso contra la venta y uso de pirotecnia, recordando a la comunidad que desde el año 2020 entró en vigencia la ordenanza N° 7.155, que declara a San Francisco "Territorio Libre de Pirotecnia".
La normativa fue aprobada en el Concejo Deliberante en 2019 y prohíbe la fabricación, tenencia, depósito, venta o cualquier otra modalidad de comercialización de elementos pirotécnicos.
Esto incluye a todo artefacto que esté destinado a provocar efectos mecánicos, visuales o auditivos mediante detonación, deflagración, combustión o explosión, incluyendo globos aerostáticos.
En los últimos días en la ciudad se escucharon bombas de estruendo y ante esa situación el jefe del cuerpo activo de bomberos, Hobey Salvático alertó sobre la importancia de que se cumpla la ordenanza a la que también adhirió el municipio de Frontera. "Es importante que pasemos las Fiestas tranquilos y para eso se debe cumplir con la ordenanza. No solo puede sufrir un accidente quien manipula la pirotecnia sino otras personas que terminan heridas".
"El año pasado hubo muchos controles, llama la atención que en estos días festivos están utilizando pirotecnia ya que se escuchan detonaciones en la ciudad lo que quiere decir que no se está cumpliendo con la normativa que prohíbe la venta y el uso particular o colectivo de pirotecnia que está vigente desde 2020", advirtió.
Un peligro para todos
La pirotecnia no solo representa un riesgo porque puede provocar un incendio, sino que además lastima a personas que tienen algún problema de salud y daña a los animales. "La ordenanza establece pirotecnia cero, es decir la prohibición de la venta y uso de pirotecnia, no solamente por los incendios que puedan producirse sino también por el daño que ocasiona a las personas con problemas de salud y a los animales", aseguró Salvático.
Recordó que años antes de la ordenanza "eran frecuentes los incendios de pastizales, viviendas, toldos, quinchos de paja que eran causados por los globos aerostáticos cuya comercialización fue prohibida antes de la pirotecnia cero".
La normativa también plantea el compromiso del municipio e instituciones a realizar campañas de concientización. "Desde bomberos comenzamos con la campaña de difusión como todos los años antes incluso que se sancione la norma", dijo.
Qué dice la ordenanza
La ordenanza N° 7.155 prohíbe el ejido de la ciudad de San Francisco "la tenencia, acopio, depósito, venta o cualquier otra modalidad de comercialización, tanto mayorista como minorista, y el uso particular o colectivo (en manifestaciones deportivas, estudiantiles, políticas, sindicales) de elementos pirotécnicos, cohetería y todo producto destinado a provocar efectos mecánicos, visuales o auditivos mediante detonación, deflagración, combustión o explosión, incluyendo globos aerostáticos. Se exceptúan los destellantes no propulsados (pirotecnia fría)".
Además establece que se realicen desde la Municipalidad de San Francisco conjuntamente con las instituciones animalistas, del medio ambiente, bomberos, de salud y demás instituciones involucradas, "campañas de concientización y educación acerca de los efectos dañosos del uso de la pirotecnia".
