Perdió su brazo derecho y hoy es pintor de obras: “Tengo muchas ganas de vivir y trabajar”
Nada está perdido. Daniel Porcel es un ejemplo de superación y lucha. Este joven, hoy sale adelante con el impulso de dejar atrás su pasado y tratando de superar el accidente laboral que casi le cuesta la vida.

Daniel Porcel (39) está dispuesto a seguir luchando. En el 2006, este papá
de tres hijos perdió su brazo derecho en un accidente laboral y comenzó un
camino de complicaciones. Sin un trabajo estable, se la rebusca como puede y
con una sola mano aprendió a pintar. En estos momentos está dando los últimos retoques de pintura a la casa de
unos vecinos, que le dieron la oportunidad. "Con esta casa me sentí útil y voy
a estar agradecido toda la vida. Tengo muchas ganas de vivir y de trabajar",
aseguró el joven. LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO tuvo la oportunidad de charlar con él después que su historia se viralizara por las redes
sociales. El papá de Luana (14), Morena (12) y Agustín (9) espera mejorar su
vida. "Me gustaría terminar la casa para recibir a mis hijos porque estoy
carente de muchas cosas, ni heladera tengo. Cuando tuve el accidente laboral cobré
una indemnización, pero el dinero no me alcanzó para poder construir las
habitaciones de los chicos. Quiero darles lo mejor", dijo Daniel. Al hombre siempre le gustó pintar "pero nunca me dedique a esto", contó. "Después
del 2006 le tomé odio al trabajo, tenía miedo, bronca. Una mezcla de todo. En
la fábrica donde trabajaba me ofrecieron un puesto administrativo o trasladarme
a Misiones donde la empresa tiene los molinos de yerba, pero no podía hacer
nada. Cobraba el 70% del sueldo y con eso intentaba sobrevivir, pero siempre se
me complicaba. Hoy la pintura es mi salida laboral".Daniel trabaja arduamente en una casa de familia de su barrio.
El accidente que lo cambió todo
El 20 de marzo de 2006, a las 18.15, la vida de Daniel cambió para siempre. Unos 15 minutos antes de tomar su descanso la envasadora comenzó a largar paquetes rotos o fallados, los embolsaba y me lo enviaba a mí. Como la yerba estaba mezclada, corrí la tapa de un tornillo transportador porque tomó una bolsa y no quería que haga de nuevo el proceso de procesado de las hierbas. Logré sacarla pero de nuevo me enganchó la bolsa y sentí que me tragó el brazo, me lo tomó por completo.", recordó con dolor Daniel.
"En pocos segundos ya no tenía más el brazo porque la máquina tragado. Parecía una película de guerra, de terror y lo peor es que estaba solo porque", siguió.
Lúcido, el obrero salió corriendo de la fábrica buscando ayuda en sus compañeros. Allí lo asistieron haciéndoles un torniquete, y como la ambulancia tardada, uno de ellos lo acercó a la clínica en su auto particular.
Daniel recordó cada momento hasta que llegó a la Clínica de especialidades Enrique J Carrá donde los médicos lo llevaron a cirugía. "Recuerdo que el anestesista me dijo que iba a estar todo bien. Me colocaron la anestesia y me dormí".
"Cuando desperté, tenía las sábanas que me cubrían hasta los hombros. En ese momento me pregunté qué hacía internado y me acordé. De hecho, sentía que movía el brazo derecho pero cuando me destapé vi que no lo tenía más. Ese fue un momento muy duro".
"Sé que estoy vivo porque no me desmayé. Fuerza, espíritu, no sé", aseguró.
Una vida difícil

Daniel contó que durante dos meses sintió el brazo, que le picaba la mano derecha pero no estaba más. "Los médicos me dijeron que eso se llama ´Síndrome del miembro fantasma´ y una psicóloga me dijo que tenía que aprender a hacer todo con el brazo que tenía y si no podía, que pidiera ayuda".
El hombre de 39 años es hijo de madre soltera y lo crió su abuela pero desde los 20 años su vida fue difícil. "La ausencia de un padre me marcó aunque lo conocí a los 30 años mientras él estaba viviendo en Mar del Plata. Dejé de estudiar y empecé a hacer las cosas mal, aunque trabajaba pero los fines de semana eran el problema. Las adicciones se apoderaron de mí".
"Siempre dije que cuando tuviera un hijo, iba a cambiar. Cuando mi ex pareja me avisó que estaba embarazada de nuestra primera hija, yo estaba en la fábrica y en ese momento pensé en mi familia", recordó.
Cuando todo parecía encaminarse para Daniel, el accidente lo hizo caer de nuevo en las adicciones y perdió su familia. Tuvo varios años luchando para salir adelante y buscando una salida digna. La posibilidad de encontrarse con el trabajo, a través de la pintura, es para él una esperanza y una oportunidad que ahora no está dispuesto a perderla.
