La legión "albiceleste", que este año no cuenta con el lesionado Juan Martín Del Potro, se completará Guido Andreozzi, Federico Delbonis y Diego Schwartzman, quienes debutarán en los días siguientes.
Pella, número 26 del ranking, enfrentará por primera vez al rumano Marius Copil (84) en su cuarta participación en el torneo de tenis más antiguo del mundo.
Mayer (56) tendrá como rival al austriaco Ernests Gulbis (90) a quien enfrentó dos veces con una victoria (San José, 2010) y una derrota (Florida, 2010) en dos torneos estadounidenses.
Lóndero (62) irá por la revancha frente al francés Benoit Paire (32) quien lo superó este año en Barcelona, España.
El serbio Novak Djokovic, vigente número uno y defensor del título, también hará su estreno hoy ante el alemán Philipp Kohlschreiber (57) a quien aventaja en el historial por 10 a 2.
