Ómicron: investigan brote de casos a partir de un cordobés llegado de Dubái
Por el momento, se trata de ocho casos confirmado y 39 contactos estrechos que se mantienen aislados. El análisis genómico identificó una "variante inespecífica".
Un brote de casos en el departamento Colón es estudiado por estas horas tras haberse comprobado que no pertenecerían a ninguna de las variantes circulantes en la Argentina hasta la actualidad.
Así lo informaron este jueves los directores de Salud de Jesús María, Andrés Carrillo, y de Colonia Caroya, Josefina Romanutti. Por el momento, se trata de ocho casos confirmado y 39 contactos estrechos que se mantienen aislados.
La preocupación aumentó al momento de identificarse como posible caso cero a un cordobés que vive en Dubái y llegó a Colonia Caroya para pasar las fiestas.
Según se pudo reconstruir, el pasajero llegó al país con algunos síntomas leves. El hisopado rápido en Ezeiza le dio negativo, pero un segundo test realizado el sábado pasado el segundo test le dio positivo.
Tras el positivo en el PCR, el análisis genómico identificó una "variante inespecífica" que hizo encender la alerta en el equipo médico provincial.
En caso de confirmarse, serían estos los primeros casos de la variante Ómicron identificados en la provincia, que se convertiría en el escenario nacional del primer borte relacionado con la variante.
