Morteros Integra la Red de Ciudades Inteligentes
Es el segundo reconocido dentro de esta red, el pionero había sido el municipio de Villa María.
El municipio de esa ciudad fue reconocido por la Red de Ciudades Inteligentes de Argentina (Recia) y pasará a formar parte de la misma.
Morteros es el segundo municipio de la provincia de Córdoba en integrar la red, seguido de la Municipalidad de Villa María. Se suma a los 57 de todo el país entre los que se destacan el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, la municipalidad de La Plata, Rosario y Tigre.
Cabe señalar que la Red de Ciudades Inteligentes de Argentina es un espacio de intercambio de experiencias y conocimientos para promover las ciudades inteligentes y la mejora de la gestión de gobierno.
La Red tiene por objeto promover el uso inteligente de las TIC para mejorar la gestión municipal y sus infraestructuras, así como la mejora del gasto público y los servicios al ciudadano, consiguiendo de este modo un mayor desarrollo y calidad de vida de sus habitantes.
La innovación y el conocimiento, en conjunto con las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), son las claves del progreso de las ciudades en las próximas décadas, haciendo más fácil la vida cotidiana de los ciudadanos, logrando una sociedad más cohesionada, generando y atrayendo talento humano y creando un nuevo tejido económico y social.
