Molina: un toque de queda sanitario sería “un balazo al corazón” de los gastronómicos
El sector rechaza un eventual regreso a las restricciones nocturnas si los casos de coronavirus siguen aumentando. En tanto, reconoce un relajamiento en bares y restaurantes respecto a los protocolos.
Si los casos de coronavirus siguen aumentando, el Gobierno baraja la posibilidad de implementar un "toque de queda sanitario" que imponga restricciones en horarios nocturnos, tal como hicieron varios países europeos con el comienzo de la segunda ola de contagios, y ya cuenta con el visto bueno de los expertos que lo asesoran en el manejo de la pandemia.
Si esto finalmente ocurre, y la medida incluye la restricción de circulación a partir de las 22, el sector gastronómico volvería a estar en jaque luego del tibio intento de reactivación logrado en el segundo semestre de 2019 a medida que se empezaban a flexibilizar los horarios de funcionamiento de locales nocturnos como bares, restaurantes y confiterías.
Desde la seccional San Francisco de la Unión de Trabajadores del Turismo, Hoteleros y Gastronómicos de la República Argentina (Uthgra), su titular, Juan Molina advirtió que en caso de implementarse esta restricción, la misma significa "un balazo al corazón de la gastronomía".
El dirigente gremial se mostró contrariado respecto de esta posibilidad que afectaría "notoriamente" la actividad que durante 2020 sufrió demasiado por las restricciones durante 85 días.
"Si esto se concreta, estaríamos en una situación terrible que afectaría notoriamente a nuestra actividad", dijo Molina.
"Si se llega a tomar la decisión de cerrar entre las 22 y las 6 afecta el pico de nuestro trabajo. Esto es un balazo al corazón de la gastronomía", señaló.
En su análisis, el secretario general de Uthgra recordó las múltiples gestiones que llevó a cabo el sector para lograr su reapertura con lo cual "si volvemos a retroceder, nos afectaría notoriamente".
Si bien reconoció que desde el punto de vista sanitario "tal vez haga falta" una restricción de estas características para intentar frenar la propagación del virus, Molina no dejó de señalar que "nos hará mucho daño" a los gastronómicos por una nueva caída en el nivel de actividad.
Desde el rubro lo "vemos con muchísima preocupación. Una restricción horaria afectará de manera directa" a la gastronomía, insistió.
"Desde el gremio instamos a todos los establecimientos gastronómicos a cuidarnos entre todos y tomar todos los recaudos necesarios", dijo Molina y reconoció que "por necesidad" se observan en algunos lugares "una sobrecarga" en el número de clientes sin hacer caso a lo que dicta el protocolo.
Mucha gente, poca distancia social
Desde el gremio reconocen cierto relajamiento en cuanto a las medidas de prevención en algunos locales gastronómicos.
El protocolo los obliga a solicitarles a los clientes sus datos personales, ingresar con barbijo, disponer alcohol en gel en las mesas, respetar la distancia entre las mismas y el horario de cierre de las 2.30.
Reconocen cierto relajamiento en bares y restaurantes.
A casi 7 meses de la reapertura, la situación es muy diferente. En este caso, Molina admitió que el sector gastronómico "se relajó" al igual que ocurre en distintos sectores de la sociedad. "Yo creo que nos hemos relajado todos en conjunto y es por eso que nosotros instamos a la gente a no dejar de cuidarse".
Borgogno: "Estamos pasando un momento pésimo"
Un ejemplo de la crisis por la que atraviesan los gastronómicos la mostró Eduardo Borgogno, propietario de Organización Cacho, empresa gastronómica creada en 1987 y que desde entonces nunca vivió una caída en la actividad como la provocada por la Covid -19.
Pese a que el gobierno provincial autorizó eventos sociales al aire libre hasta un máximo de 100 personas, hasta el momento el temor al contagio no genera demanda en las empresas dedicadas a brindar servicios de catering y organización de eventos.
Borgogno explicó a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO que "la autorización está, pero nadie se va a arriesgar a reunir 100 personas con todo lo que está pasando".
De esta manera, el empresario confirmó que no recibió ningún pedido para llevar a cabo reuniones sociales porque "existe mucho miedo".
Borgogno además tiene a su cargo la concesión de la Estación Terminal de Ómnibus, otro sector severamente golpeado por la pandemia que, hace poco tiempo intenta rehabilitarse con la puesta en marcha del transporte interurbano de pasajeros.
La Terminal "está muy lejos" de volver a ser ese lugar convocante de cientos de personas que llegaban hasta allí en busca de un micro o bien de alguna persona que llegaba a la ciudad.
"La actividad está muy resentida y eso se advierte incluso en los locales comerciales. Si no trabajamos con gente de San Francisco, nos fundimos -alertó-. A excepción de tres locales, el resto están cerrados por falta de ventas porque no hay gente circulando por aquí".
Ante la posibilidad de implementar un toque de queda sanitario que perjudique directamente al sector gastronómico Borgogno no dudó en asegurar que si esto se pone en práctica, "directamente quedamos arruinados".
Qué aconsejan los expertos
El senador e investigador especialista en temas relacionados al coronavirus Martín Barrionuevo aseguró ayer que "los cuidados han bajado mucho" y por eso "se analiza la posibilidad del toque de queda nocturno".
"Hay una pendiente de suba de casos muy grande, los cuidados han bajado mucho", subrayó el senador correntino en diálogo con el programa "El Gíglico", que conduce Mauro Viale por Radio Rivadavia.
Además, sostuvo que "se analiza la posibilidad de toque de queda nocturno" y que "el problema son las medidas que tienen tantas excepciones".
"Las medidas restrictivas nocturnas son más sencillas de controlar. La tendencia es que la gente cada vez se cuida menos", expresó.
Por último, consideró que "la curva de crecimiento la alimentamos nosotros con nuestro comportamiento".
