Mauricio Macri y Juliana Awada despidieron a De la Rúa en el Congreso
El presidente Mauricio Macri fue el primer dirigente en acudir al Congreso de la Nación para despedir a Fernando de la Rúa en el Funeral de Estado.
El jefe de Estado llegó a las 15:30 acompañado por su esposa, la primera Dama Juliana Awada, y su secretario privado, Darío Nieto, en medio de un importante operativo de seguridad. Ingresaron por la calle Combate de los Pozos y se dirigieron al salón de los Pasos Perdidos donde se realiza la ceremonia. Se retiró 15 minutos más tarde.
El jefe de Estado y su esposa le transmitieron sus condolencias a Inés Pertiné, viuda de De la Rúa, quien entró al palacio legislativo a las 15 por la calle Rivadavia, notablemente afligida
Los restos mortales del ex jefe de Estado radical habían llegado al recinto a las 14:30. El féretro fue trasladado por Granaderos.
El ex mandatario falleció en la mañana del martes en una clínica en la que estaba internado desde enero pasado en grave estado. Ayer, su estado había empeorado a raíz de una descompensación cardíaca y renal.
Desde temprano, las principales figuras de la política argentina despidieron al ex mandatario desde las redes sociales.
El presidente Mauricio Macri no sólo se expresó en redes sociales sobre la muerte de Fernando de la Rúa, sino que fue el encargado de anunciar públicamente su partida.
Tras conocerse la noticia, fuentes oficiales confirmaron que los restos del ex presidente serían velados en un servicio con Granaderos. A las 16 se habilitó el ingreso para el público en general en el Parlamento. Además, se decretaron tres días de duelo nacional.
A las 20, los restos del ex mandatario serán trasladados a la casa velatoria para ser enterrados a las 10 de la mañana de este miércoles en el cementerio Memorial de la localidad bonaerense de Pilar.
