Liga Argentina: San Isidro comenzará a jugar en febrero
Este lunes hubo una nueva reunión virtual, donde los máximos dirigentes de los clubes de la Zona Norte -Alejandro Aimaretti estuvo en representación de San Isidro- propusieron algunos puntos y en principio, la acción del torneo de segunda división daría comienzo en los primeros días del mes próximo. También se definió el formato de la competencia.
La segunda división del básquetbol nacional, la Liga Argentina, vive días de definiciones y este lunes hubo una nueva reunión en la cual los dirigentes plantearon diversas posturas para estar más cerca de darle forma al torneo 2021, donde los "Halcones Rojos" buscarán volar alto y pelear por el ascenso.
Después de un cuarto intermedio, se llevó a cabo otra reunión vía Zoom en la cual participó el presidente de San Isidro, Alejandro Aimaretti, donde la AdC (Asociación de Clubes) mantuvo contacto con los dirigentes de las instituciones de la Conferencia Norte y se planteó disputar un torneo que arranque los primeros días del mes próximo (podría ser el 7 o el 12 de febrero), que se juegue todos contra todos, ida y vuelta, en sedes y sin público por la pandemia del coronavirus. O sea que con estos puntos, el certamen tendría una duración de 5 meses (4 meses de fase regular, más 1 mes de play off).
Cabe señalar que el formato sedes -no es modo "burbuja", pero sí habrá un protocolo sanitario- es un tipo de competencia que se realizará para prevenir el contagio del Covid-19, adonde se irá a una ciudad determinada durante una semana aproximadamente y se jugará en ese estadio.
San Isidro podría proponerse como sede (habría seis en total) y por eso en su momento deberá hablar con las autoridades de la municipalidad de San Francisco para ver si pueden respaldar al club de calle Corrientes en la parte sanitaria.
La idea es que en la Liga Argentina 2021 participen 30 equipos, 16 en la Zona Norte (los 13 de la temporada pasada, más Estudiantes de Concordia -que le vendió la plaza de LNB a Oberá TC- y se sumarían dos equipos que comprarían plaza: Estudiantes de Tucumán y Colón de Santa Fe). Mientras que por ahora habría 14 conjuntos en la Zona Sur, la diferencia en la cantidad de equipos se debe a la proximidad geográfica.
Los equipos clasificados a los play off serán los ocho primeros de cada zona (jugarán 1º vs. 8º, 2º vs. 7º, 3º vs. 6º y 4º vs. 5º) mientras que el resto finalizará su participación en la competencia. Habrá un campeón absoluto y el premio mayor será el ascenso a la Liga Nacional.
Todo esto se planteó y se aceptó en la Zona Norte, mientras que la Zona Sur -que se reunió aparte- también habría aceptado este formato, para que próximamente la AdC (Asociación de Clubes) confirme de manera oficial la fecha de comienzo, forma de disputa y equipos participantes en la Liga Argentina 2021.
Sigue la pretemporada
El plantel profesional de San Isidro inició este lunes por la noche su segunda semana de pretemporada para llegar de la mejor forma a la próxima edición de la Liga Argentina.
Con el entrenador principal Sebastián Torre a la cabeza, más Gustavo Morla (asistente técnico) y Daniel Pérez (preparador físico) los "Halcones Rojos" volvieron al trabajo en el parqué del estadio "Severo Robledo".
Después de una semana positiva de entrenamientos, donde además de trabajar en el aspecto físico, y también en fundamentos individuales, el "coach" de San Isidro hizo hincapié en los ataques rápidos sin oposición, 2 (jugadores) vs. 0, 3 vs. 0 y 4 vs. 0, más el concepto de ocupación de espacios, principalmente en los rompimientos y descargas.
Durante esta segunda semana de preparación, el técnico Torre, de manera progresiva, iría introduciendo conceptos defensivos fundamentales para su idea de juego.
