Las “abanderadas de la vida” hicieron el secundario a los 70
Son cinco amigas que decidieron cursar el nivel medio de la escuela. Sin posibilidades de estudiar de jóvenes por razones de trabajo, maternidad o por cuidado del hogar, decidieron romper con los mandatos y finalizar sus estudios. Este miércoles egresan.

El Cenma N° 172 Anexo Devoto recopila múltiples historias de vida en cada una de sus aulas. El próximo miércoles tendrá su colación y este proceso siempre se vive con mucha emoción y felicidad. La razón de esa vivencia es que siempre una persona adulta finaliza una etapa importante de su vida; que es terminar el secundario.
Pero este año hay una historia muy especial. En el listado de egresados aparecerán el nombre de cinco mujeres se convirtieron en un ejemplo para todo Devoto. Juana "Bety" Álvarez (73), Regina Comelli (74), Norma Sciola (75) Marta Rinaldi (71) y Alicia Luciano (69 - a días de cumplir 70) decidieron dar un paso más del taller de la memoria y se animaron a romper con los mandatos de su época para sentir la libertad y la posibilidad de poder estudiar el secundario.
Entre el trabajo en el tambo a los doce años, el matrimonio, ser ama de casa y criar a los hijos; cinco historias parecían truncadas hasta hoy que se animaron a estudiar y terminar el nivel medio.
Superando todos los obstáculos, entre ellos el acceso a la tecnología en plena cuarentena por el coronavirus, fueron ejemplo para una foto que les tomó una profesora con sus camperas de la Promoción 2021 y le valió un reconocimiento a nivel provincial. Ella son las verdaderas "abanderadas de la vida".
Romper los mandatos
Todas las mujeres están atravesadas por mandatos patriarcales de mucho tiempo atrás, cuando debían ser amas de casa, trabajar, saber coser y bordar. Por eso para ellas, es un sueño cumplido.
Juana Beatriz Álvarez, con 73 años, contó que hace mucho tiempo que asisten con las chicas al centro de jubilados que funciona en Devoto. "En una oportunidad la profesora Fátima Perrone nos preguntó si queríamos hacer el secundario y nosostras no dejamos pasar la oportunidad", dijo Bety, como todos la conocen en el pueblo. "Mis nietos me dicen que soy un ejemplo para ellos y mi yerno aseguró que todo esto lo hice posible yo misma".
"Era una materia pendiente que tuve. Cuando se dio la oportunidad, no pude dejarla", agregó.

Regina Comelli, con 74 años, relató que "siempre tuvo le sueño de hacer el secundario". "Cuando tenía la edad de hacerlo, las mujeres de mi época solo debían aprender a coser, a bordar o cocinar. Cuando comenzó el secundario de adultos tenía ganas, pero mi hija luego entro de coordinadora y me dijo, ´Mami, mira que empieza primer año y hacelo´. Por ella comencé a cursar. Al principio éramos un montón de chicos, pero logre cumplir mi sueño".
Norma Sciola vive frente al Cenma hace 40 años pero recién ahora con 75 decidió cruzar la vereda y las barreras que se le impusieron de chica. "Cuando abrió el Cenma nunca se me ocurrió hacerlo, pero el deseo siempre estuvo ya que para la vida que tuve me sirvió lo que aprendí. Al enviudar, pensé en hacer el secundario. Siempre me gusto investigar y las materias del colegio. Fue difícil por la pandemia, pero finalmente vamos a recibir nuestro título".
"Cuando tenía la edad de hacer el secundario, las mujeres de mi época solo debían aprender a coser, a bordar o cocinar", afirmó Regina.
"Fue una experiencia inolvidable y no hay persona a que no me haya entusiasmado. Fue poder cumplir un deseo propio, no de otros".
Marta Rinaldi, de 71 años, le ocurrió algo similar. "Nunca pude hacerlo de joven por mi familia, por trabajo, porque siempre viví el campo y cuando vine a vivir al pueblo, decidimos hacerlo con las chicas. Me gustó mucho, tuvimos mucha ayuda de las profesoras y compañeros porque nos decían que teníamos que seguir adelante. Muchas veces decíamos ´No podemos seguir adelante 'y, sin embargo, ellos nos alentaban para seguir".
"Fue una experiencia inolvidable y no hay persona a que no me haya entusiasmado. Fue poder cumplir un deseo propio, no de otros", indicó Norma.
Pero la que dio el empujón fue Alicia María Luciano, a punto de cumplir 70. "A los doce años me fui a trabajar al tambo. Teníamos que saber bordar, coser, hacer las cosas de la casa. Yo dije, ´Vamos y las chicas me siguieron´. Esta es una oportunidad de agradecer a la escuela, a los profesores, a los amigos y a las niñas que me acompañaron".
"Me gustó mucho, tuvimos mucha ayuda de las profesoras y compañeros porque nos decían que teníamos que seguir adelante", expresó Marta.
Superar la pandemia
Antes de la pandemia, las mujeres asistían a clases de 20 a 00, siempre y cuando se terminara la torta y la ronda de mates. Sin embargo, en medio del proceso de aprendizaje, llegó la pandemia de coronavirus y con ella la cuarentena.
Esta alumnas, por ser de riesgo, fueron las primeras de debieron resguardarse ante el virus, pero eso no impidió que sigan estudiando.
Para la mayoría de ellas, la tecnología fue un desafío que se sumaba al estudio. En el caso de Marta, "no sabía cómo se prendía o apagaba la computadora. Para mí era la primera vez que usaba una máquina".
"Esta es una oportunidad de agradecer a la escuela, a los profesores, a los amigos y a las niñas que me acompañaron", manifestó Alicia.
Juana tiene a su hijo viviendo en Inglaterra y la distancia es algo que ella conoce. "Sabía usar la computadora y el celular, pero les pedía a ellas que corten la llamada porque no sabía cómo hacerlo. Costó mucho en pandemia porque las materias no eran fáciles y menos con la tecnología".
Para Regina, "era difícil el aprendizaje a través de la computadora, de entenderlos ejercicios. Porque no es lo mismo que te expliquen personalmente que por medio de una pantalla".
"Nos hicimos amigas de Google, de Zoom y de todos los programas", dijeron.
Mi hija, mi profesora
Mariela Echague, Verónica Luciano y María Victoria Mazzola son las docentes de las "chicas". Sin embargo, las dos primeras son hijas y profesoras de Regina y Alicia, respectivamente. Para Regina, "muchos me decían que tenía gancho, pero puedo decir que por el contrario".
"Nuestras hijas trabajan todo el día. ¿Iba a ir a molestarla con un ejercicio de matemáticas? Para nada", contó Alicia quien recordó una de las tantas anécdotas de clase con su hija; "Vos imagínate que tu hija te esté enseñando Educación Sexual Integral, con todo lo que conlleva, sobre las enfermedades, el sexo. ¡Mira a la edad que vengo a aprender y de quien!", contó Alicia.
Para Verónica, "no era fácil ayudarlas por nuestros tiempos, Lo que más costo fue que entendiera que soy la coordinara del Cenma. Al principio también costó que leyeran y comprendieran. Muchas veces, mi mamá Regina me llamaba llorando porque no les salía algo".
"Cuando la encontré en el aula, sabía que iba a poder hacerlo y cumplir su sueño. Ella siempre fue una mujer dedicada. Sé que va a seguir estudiando", reconoció Verónica.
"Sin esta modalidad, ellas no podrían haber hecho el secundario", agregó Mariela.
En el aula hubo un encuentro generacional con el resto de los estudiantes. "En primer año se nota la diferencia de edad, porque a ellas les molestaba que hablen, que hagan ruido, que molesten o se les crucen enfrente y no puedan copiar. Sin embargo, hay un proceso que llega a tercer año donde todos terminan siendo por igual".
"Una vez callé a un chico que molestaba y me dijo, ´callate vos, vieja de m....´. ¿Para qué me dijo eso?", bromeó Regina.
Una foto, una historia
Capítulo aparte merece el reconocimiento que recibieron por parte de la provincia de Córdoba. Un momento de estas estudiantes saliendo de la escuela con sus camperas de la Promoción 2021 le valió de inspiración a la profesora y licenciada en Psicología, María Victoria Mazzola, que captó el momento y la llamó la foto "Abanderadas de la vida".
A la imagen la postularon en el Concurso Provincial de Fotografía: "Con otros ojos: mayores en tiempos de barbijos" y resultó seleccionada entre las mejores del concurso en la categoría institucional.
Este premio les valió a las mujeres la oportunidad a acceder a cursos cortos, medianos y largo plazo junto a la provincia de Córdoba, actividad que no descartan hacer para seguir aprendiendo.
Para María Victoria Mazzola, "es un orgullo acompañarlas. Mucha gente tiene ganas de terminar el secundario y ellas son algunas. La foto que le tomé me emocionó mucho; con bastón, con sus dificultades al andar porque para mí son verdaderas abanderadas de la vida".
