La segunda dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V ya se le colocó a 200 personas
Son todos agentes sanitarios de la primera línea de atención con pacientes que tienen covid diagnosticado. Habían recibido la primera inoculación el 29 de diciembre pasado.

Los agentes sanitarios nuevamente hicieron la fila, registrándose y esperando que haya un grupo de cinco personas, de modo tal, que pueda abrirse una nueva caja con dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V que actúa contra el covid.
Esa situación se repitió hasta colocar 200 dosis a lo largo de una jornada que empezó a las 9 y continuará también mañana en igual cantidad.
La misma hilera habían hecho el 29 de diciembre pasado cuando se vivió un hecho histórico en todo el país - del cual el Hospital J.B. Iturraspe no estuvo exceptuado - dando inicio a la campaña de vacunación más grande que se recuerde.
La dinámica ahora está mucho más aceitada pero el compromiso es el mismo o mayor teniendo en cuenta que ya se comenzó a colocar la segunda dosis de la Sputnik V cerrando el ciclo de inmunización, en este caso para agentes sanitarios.
Quizás no lo parece, sin embargo, ya pasaron 21 días de aquel día y las dosis llegaron como se estipulaba con los mismos recaudos e idéntica esperanza de que junto con el mantenimiento de los cuidados de bioseguridad la situación mejore.
Por supuesto que para esto es importante que haya una gran cantidad de personas vacunadas, lo que se llama inmunidad de rebaño ya que solo así los efectos se colectivizarían, pero de todas maneras este es un buen inicio.
Cierra la primera etapa
En el lugar la vicedirectora del Hospital Iturraspe, Verónica Pepino, estuvo supervisando las tareas de sus compañeras que en cuestión de segundos ya colocaban la dosis a otros colegas. La doctora dijo a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO que "vacunarán dos días", totalizándose 400 dosis, colocadas en mitades.
El recorrido termina mañana y así quienes ya cumplieron los 21 días desde la colocación de la primera comenzarán la etapa de inmunización total.
"Todos los profesionales que se acercan reciben su segunda dosis después de 21 días transcurridos de la primera porque no se puede colocar antes, sí después y así la inmunización de la vacuna hará efecto", expresó.
Además, resaltó la predisposición de los profesionales que fueron graficados por ella como "los que están en la primera línea de batalla" y que habían sido vacunados por primera vez el pasado 29 de diciembre del 2020".
Todavía hay camino por delante
Pepino explicó que aun "quedan profesionales sin vacunar" e hizo mención a que en esta primera parte se le otorgaron las dosis al grupo de agentes sanitarios que trabajan directamente con pacientes con covid.
En ese grupo se incluyen aquellos del área de terapia intensiva, hacen hisopados, están en la Guardia Central o revisan pacientes en el área Covid.
Asimismo, la vicedirectora del nosocomio regional comentó cómo transitaron estos 21 días las personas que ayer concurrían a vacunarse por segunda ocasión.
"En el caso de los que recibieron su primera dosis las reacciones adversas han sido leves, prácticamente imperceptibles. Algunos tuvieron cefalea, fiebre o malestar general o articulares, pero ninguna reacción severa o pacientes que necesitaron hospitalización", ahondó.
En este sentido se explayó diciendo que quienes recibieron la segunda dosis "estuvieron en observación durante un período de tiempo y no tuvieron tampoco ninguna reacción adversa severa".
No hay que confiarse
Pepino insistió en que se preserven las medidas de bioseguridad, e indicó que en el caso del plantel sanitario seguirán manteniéndolas con la misma rigurosidad que en cualquier caso y más aun en pacientes con covid.
Tras ser consultada también por el nivel de contagio entre sus colegas comentó que "es muy bajo" y para ello fue fundamental que "previa colocación de la vacuna hubo capacitaciones sobre la instrumentación de las medidas específicas de bioseguridad para quienes atienden a personas enfermas con covid".
"Nosotros tuvimos un porcentaje de personas infectadas que atienden a pacientes muy bajo. Empezamos entre marzo y abril las capacitaciones - y enfatizó - En la UTI y el área Covid hubo muy pocos profesionales médicos con Covid".
