La inclusión laboral trans se tratará sesiones extraordinarias
El proyecto que lleva los nombres de "Diana Sacayán - Lohana Berkins" podría ser votado sancionado antes de marzo.
El Presidente Alberto Fernández incorporó en el temario de Sesiones Extraordinarias el proyecto de Ley de Promoción del Acceso al Empleo Formal para Personas Travestis, Transexuales y Transgénero ("Diana Sacayán - Lohana Berkins").
El mandatario nacional oficializó esa decisión a través del Decreto 28/2021, por lo que la norma podría tener su sanción antes del mes de marzo.
La autora de uno de los principales proyectos que se pondrán en debate es la cordobesa Gabriela Estévez, cuya iniciativa fue elaborada con el apoyo de la Liga LGBTIQ+ de las Provincias y la Convocatoria Federal Trans y Travesti Argentina.
"La Ley cuenta con amplio apoyo parlamentario como quedó demostrado en su tratamiento en comisiones donde fue aprobado por unanimidad en Mujeres y Diversidad y por amplísima mayoría en Legislación del Trabajo y Presupuesto y Hacienda", contó la diputada al respecto.
Para Estévez, "esta Ley constituye una deuda de la democracia para con el colectivo travesti trans argentino, sin dudas el grupo social más vulnerado por la discriminación laboral".
La Ley busca ampliar el alcance de los decretos que establecieron el cupo en la Administración Pública y el Senado, sumando incentivos fiscales para la inserción laboral en el sector privado y apoyo al emprendedurismo travesti trans.
"Se estima que 9 de cada 10 personas travestis y trans no cuentan con trabajo formal, lo que impacta gravemente en el acceso a otros derechos fundamentales como la salud y la vivienda", agregó Estévez.
