La ciudad de Córdoba suspendió todos los eventos masivos para las Fiestas
Lo definió el intendente Martín Llaryora tras la escalada de casos de Ómicron. La medida se mantendrá hasta que baje la positividad. No afecta a bares y restaurantes.
La municipalidad de Córdoba decidió suspender los eventos masivos y fiestas especiales previstos para Navidad y Año Nuevo ante el aumento de casos de Covid-19 en esa ciudad.
"No autoriza y por ende suspende todo evento masivo extraordinario que pueda desarrollarse en espacios abiertos o cerrados", señala la disposición del intendente Martín Llaryora que informó La Voz del Interior.
De acuerdo a lo que señalaron desde el municipio la medida regirá hasta que baje la positividad y lo permitan las condiciones epidemiológicas.
"La medida, de carácter sanitario preventivo, busca mitigar la aglomeración de gente en un mismo lugar, en momentos en que la positividad de los contagios ha crecido de manera exponencial en los últimos días", señalaron.
El secretario de Gobierno, Miguel Siciliano, dijo: "La situación sanitaria nos señala que hay que priorizar la salud como siempre lo hemos hecho. Permitir eventos extraordinarios nos parecía desde lo sanitario poco aconsejable".
Desde el municipio aclararon que la resolución no alcanza a los comercios, bares y restaurantes. Estos rubros seguirán funcionando con normalidad hasta las 3 de la madrugada.
"La disposición se va a mantener hasta que la situación sanitaria cambie. Hoy las condiciones de contagios son exponenciales. Estamos haciendo un esfuerzo extraordinario, para poner la máxima capacidad para testear", dijo el funcionario.
Y agregó: "No es una restricción a lo habilitado, que funciona perfectamente, sino de los eventos extraordinarios"
Antes del aumento de los casos, siete eventos habían pedido habilitación municipal para Navidad y otras tantas para Año Nuevo. Las estimaciones señalan que podrían haber congregado a más de 100 mil personas.
En los últimos días, varios municipios del interior de la provincia ya habían tomado una determinación en igual sentido. Y ahora que hizo lo propio Córdoba capital, es de esperar que en las próximas horas más localidades se sumen a la decisión.
