La Unicameral aprobó la legalización del juego on line que despertó polémica en Córdoba. la ludopatía es la adicción patológica a los juegos de azar y esta normativa podría profundizar el problema de quienes ya son adictos, según advirtió el licenciado en Psicología, José Macello.
El proyecto que legaliza el juego online en Córdoba despertó polémica y detrás de eso se encuentra un problema de salud serio: la ludopatía, la adicción patológica a los juegos de azar.
El licenciado en Psicología, José Macello (MP-1352) advirtió a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO que con el juego online "se puede profundizar el problema de los que ya son adictos por la comodidad y porque puede hacerlo en su casa sin que su familia se entere".
Aseguró que también puede provocar más adictos entre los jóvenes "que lo pueden ver como una diversión, porque se asocia al juego y se relaciona inconsciente con juegos de niños o adolescentes".
En cuanto a la posibilidad de que tomen medidas para controlar a los más vulnerables, Macello estimó que "no es probable identificar a los más vulnerables. El adicto suele mentir con convicción y el modo on line consiste en fichas a llenar. Desde la psicología de quien promueve el juego, está ahí para ganar. No para ser un confesor".
El psicólogo aseguró que el adicto al juego sufre muchos problemas en su vida. "La persona queda destruida en sus áreas biológica, psicológica, social y en su comunicación con lo trascendente. Lo mejor es no empezar porque es difícil detenerse en la caída".
Advirtió que el adicto "no habla de lo que le pasa hasta que sea muy tarde. Hablará cuando ya no pueda manejar la situación, cuando haya perdido todo".
"Generalmente su pareja piensa que puede recuperarse, pero no es fácil y si no hay tratamiento se avecina la posibilidad del divorcio para proteger lo bienes familiares que queden", añadió.
Afirmó que en muchos casos los ludópatas "robaron en su lugar de trabajo lo que les causó el despido, piden dinero a amigos que comienzan a alejarse. Cuando se ven hundidos es probable que sumen una adicción más como el alcohol o el cigarrillo o incluso comer en exceso. Con su vida fuera de control no es extraño que piensen en el suicidio".
La ludopatía alcanza a los hijos también. Macello afirmó que los hijos "quedan desvastados. Viven tratando de arreglar sus vidas y tratando de alejarse de ellos. En sus mentes tienen conflictos con sus padres permanentemente, intentando sortear la pobreza que antes en sus vidas no existía".
Finalmente aconsejó a quien sienta que tiene necesidad de jugar y antes no lo había experimentado "que busque ayuda profesional inmediatamente, antes que sea muy difícil de solucionar".
