Inti y Tatiana: con sus bicis adaptadas tienen más autonomía y rehabilitación
Inti Agodino y Tatiana Yasmín Rupel celebran la libertad de poder andar en bici en la plaza, jugar con amigos y hacer mandados, situaciones que parecen simples para muchos pero no para ellos ya que ambos tienen discapacidad motriz. Recibieron bicicletas adaptadas de la Fundación Jean Maggi que ya disfrutan.

lucro creada para contribuir y aportar ayuda a los niños con discapacidad a
través del deporte, permite que más chicos con discapacidad puedan hacer todo
lo que quieran.
Las bicicletas fueron gestionadas por la profesora de Educación Física, Mónica Cordi, de Alpi San Francisco quien aseguró que gestionaron las bicis porque debido a la discapacidad que tienen, no pueden acceder a una bicicleta común. "La idea fundamental es darles independencia y autonomía para que puedan desenvolverse en la vida", dijo
El mejor regalo
Tatiana tiene 8 años y tiene paraplejia debido a un accidente de tránsito que sufrió cuando era muy chica cuando iba en la moto con su mamá y se dañó la médula.
Camina ayudada por bastones canadienses y órtesis en sus piernas, es una nena activa que avanza también en su rehabilitación. Todos los días sale en la bici, cerca de su casa a hacer mandados y también a jugar.
"Me gusta mucho tener esta bici porque puedo ir a hacer los mandados, puedo ir a buscar a mi hermana, me dio mucha alegría cuando me la dieron. Fue el mejor regalo que me dieron", aseguró contenta.
Para su mamá Gisella Andrada la bicicleta es una gran alegría porque aseguró que ahora "Tatiana se siente más cómoda, más independiente -destacó-, antes veía a los otros chicos andar en bici y ella también quería hacerlo".
"Ahora podemos salir a pasear"
Inti Agodino de 11 años sale con bici adaptada a pasear por la plaza Cívica y disfruta de una actividad que no podía hacer como otros chicos porque sufre de parálisis cerebral que le causó secuelas motrices, aunque camina con dificultad.
Su papá Damián contó que cuando se enteraron que le daban la bicicleta decidieron sorprenderlo y viajaron con él a Córdoba sin que supiera que iba a buscarla. Una vez allá todo fue alegría. "Es de una gran ayuda, creo que será de mucha utilidad, le dará más independencia y ahora podemos salir a pasear", destacó.
Agregó que además "el ejercicio de la bicicleta le va a dar más fuerza en los pies y la cadera. Es muy importante para su rehabilitación diaria".
Ambas familias manifestaron su agradecimiento a Mónica Cordi realizó las gestiones y a la Fundación Jean Maggi por la oportunidad.
Una herramienta de inclusión
La Fundación Jean Maggi fue fundada en 2016 en Córdoba, por Juan Ignacio Maggi y María Victoria Milano. Maggi, tuvo una vida de película: al año de vida se enfermó de poliomelitis lo que lo dejó sin caminar. Sufrió un infarto tras 37 años de mala vida y se convirtió después en todo un deportista y llegó incluso a subir al Himalaya con su bicicleta adaptada, marcando un hito histórico.
La historia de Maggi llegó a manos del talentoso director Juan José Campanella que la transformó en un documental de Netflix. "El Límite infinito" cuenta esta apasionante y salvaje vida en la que Maggi se propuso "estar siempre de pie".
El movimiento funciona como una excelente herramienta de inclusión donde la persona puede desarrollarse deportiva, personal y socialmente. Tantos los logros como los sacrificios son trasladables rápidamente a la vida diaria contribuyendo así al bienestar de las personas con discapacidad, a sus familias y a su entorno.
