Incorporarán a la Justicia perros para asistir a niños que sufrieron abusos
Leandro Lencina y Carolina Valdermarín están entrenados a dos ejemplares de la raza Golden Retriver para asistir a niños, niñas y adolescentes víctimas de delitos de instancia privada. Este caso sería el primero en la provincia de Córdoba.
India y Teo, son cariñosos y mueven la cola cuando alguien se le acerca para conversar y realizarle una caricia. Ellos no son perros comunes y están siendo adiestrados para cumplir una función muy especial. En pocos meses, se convertirán en caninos que prestan terapia de asistencia judicial en los tribunales provinciales de nuestra ciudad.
Después de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, San Francisco se convertirá en el segundo lugar a nivel nacional en contar con perros entrenados para asistir a víctimas de delitos de instancia privada.
Estos animales ayudarán a niños, niñas y adolescentes que a la hora de dar declaración en alguna causa judicial. El objetivo es que los chicos se distiendan y desinhiban antes de entrar a la Sala de Entrevistas Especializadas (SEE) y que puedan bajar su nivel de estrés y hacer un corte del relato traumático que realizaron una vez que salen, donde los animales los están esperando.
Contar con esta extraordinaria ayuda fue iniciativa del bombero voluntario Leandro Lencina, que tiene a su cargo la "División K 9" de la Asociación de Bomberos Voluntarios de San Francisco, y a su vez es subcoordinador de la Regional 1, de la entidad bomberil de la ciudad.
Para llevar este proyecto, Lencina sumó a su novia Carolina Valdemarin, quien es psicopedagoga y bombera voluntaria. La propuesta llegó al fiscal de Delitos Complejos Bernardo Alberione, que estuvo totalmente de acuerdo en contar con esta invalorable colaboración para asistir en estos casos.
La pareja de bomberos es propietaria de India, de seis años y Teo, de tan solo tres meses de vida. Los dos son ejemplares de la raza Golden Retriver que llevaran esa tarea es ayudar a los niños que fueron víctimas de algún delito como grooming, abuso sexual, pornografía infantil, maltrato o lesiones a sobrellevar mejor el proceso judicial.
Lencina contó a LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO que en el caso de India ya está siendo adiestrada para acompañar a niños y adolescentes. En cambio Teo, están esperando que cumpla los seis meses para comenzar con este entrenamiento especial.
El bombero indicó que desde hace cinco años trabaja en el cuartel con los perros de la División K 9, los cuales son adiestrados en búsqueda y rescate de personas, pero reconoció que cuando empezó con el otro proyecto tenía pocos conocimientos sobre los canes que cumplen funciones como asistencia a víctima. "Con Carolina siempre tuvimos este deseo y nos pusimos a estudiar y buscar los antecedentes para convertirlo en realidad", dijo el joven.
India
La función
Lencina explicó que para que un perro que cumpla la función de asistencia a la víctima debe ser un animal muy equilibrado. Y agregó: "Debe ser un perro sociable en donde demuestre seguridad y no miedo ante las víctimas".
Según otras experiencias que se realizan en el mundo y en el país se eligen por lo general razas como el Golden Retriver, Labrador, Bolder Collie. "Todas ellas son razas muy fáciles de trabajar en este sentido. En mi caso me incliné hacia los Golden que son perros muy dóciles".
Carolina, en su doble rol, psicopedagoga y bombera, indicó que India ya tiene súper claro el trabajo y podría empezar a cumplir su función. "Primero al perro se lo sociabiliza con los chicos para que se deje tocar, la obediencia es fundamental en un perro de Asistencia Judicial", indico.
Con respecto al procedimiento, la psicopedagoga explicó que animal no ingresa al recinto en donde se realiza la Cámara Gesell. "En algunos países se hace, pero en nuestro caso el perro tiene contacto con la víctima antes de su ingreso a la sala en donde va a declarar, con esto se logra que el niño o el adolescente sienta que el estrés, el miedo, la inseguridad o la ansiedad se minimizan antes de ingresar a este proceso judicial, una vez que la víctima entra a declarar ha quedado demostrado que brinda declaraciones concisas, breves, muchas más seguras. Cuando la víctima sale, el perro lo está esperando para que se logre el recuentro y de este modo deje atrás todo lo que tuvo que hablar en el proceso judicial".
Y remarcó: "El objetivo principal del perro de Asistencia Judicial es lograr que la víctima no se revictimice sino que repare los daños que ha sufrido, esto es lo fundamental de acompañar para que el niño o el adolescente se sienta lo más tranquilo posible, contar su verdad y no sentirse una víctima más".

Gran aporte
Alberione destacó el proyecto realizado por la pareja y sostuvo que fue una grata sorpresa cuando le comentaron de la posibilidad de contar con un perro adistrado para brindar sevicios de asistencia judicial. "Sería un gran aporte que brindará contención y asistencia psicológica a quien es víctima de delitos de índole sexual mayormente menores de edad. Lo que se busca es bajar el nivel de ansiedad, el trauma que provoca una declaración en donde lo que se busca es que relate lo más preciso posible sobre las circunstancias que le tocaron vivir", indicó el fiscal.
