Gobierno analiza extender hasta el final de Semana Santa la duración de la cuarentena total
La medida podría prolongarse hasta el lunes 12 de abril, según fuentes oficiales.
El Gobierno analiza extender la cuarentena obligatoria en un período que podría llegar hasta el 12 de abril para disminuir la expansión del coronavirus en la Argentina. La decisión estará atada a los resultados del aislamiento que está rigiendo hoy, pero esa idea tiene un problema de implementación, ya que los casos de infectados que se están distribuyendo en estos días reflejan contagios anteriores a las medidas que se tomaron el último viernes.
"El dilema es que si la cuarentena nos funciona bien nos va a convenir extenderla y si nos funciona mal, también nos va a convenir mantenerla", explica un funcionario del Gobierno nacional que sigue el día a día del progreso de la pandemia.
La idea de extender el período de aislamiento obligatorio se comenzó a analizar en la Casa Rosada este fin de semana, donde también se sigue con mucha atención la evolución de la crisis sanitaria en Chile y, especialmente, en Brasil. En esos dos países, la evolución de los casos de contagio es mucho más pronunciada que en la Argentina, donde el Gobierno confía en que los nuevos casos se vayan distribuyendo paulatinamente en un período largo y no crezcan de golpe
