Fuerte operativo interfuerzas en avenida Cervantes
Este fin de semana, el municipio intensificará el control de tránsito en uno de los puntos críticos de la ciudad a través de un trabajo en conjunto con las policías federal y provincial. Se busca dar respuesta a un problema repetido, pero sin solución: frenar desmadres y picadas de motos.
El municipio de San Francisco llevará a cabo durante este fin de semana un fuerte operativo de tránsito sobre avenida Cervantes, desde la Sociedad Rural hasta Runa Disco para abordar un problema conocido, pero sin solución: grupos de jóvenes en motocicletas que irrumpen a veces, a velocidades altas, zigzagueando entre los automóviles y con escaso cumplimiento de normas viales, así como del uso del casco protector. Y todo ello ocurre, paradójicamente, frente a las dependencias de la Dirección de Tránsito municipal.
En esa arteria, en las madrugadas, las picadas comienzan en la rotonda de Caseros y terminan muchas cuadras después, haciendo caso omiso hasta a los semáforos ubicados en esa traza. Preocupados por la situación y a partir del análisis y el diagnóstico elaborado en el macro del Consejo Interprovincial de Seguridad Ciudadana "con el fin de brindar tranquilidad a quienes viven en el sector y también a quienes circulan por allí".
"A pedido del intendente Damián Bernarte estuvimos reunidos con los miembros de las distintas fuerzas de seguridad que operan en nuestra ciudad como son la Policía de la Provincia de Córdoba, Gendarmería Nacional, Policía Federal Argentina, Fuerza Policial Antinarcotráfico, el Grupo Eter y Policía Municipal, con el objetivo de que exista una mejor convivencia entre todos los vecinos y de transmitirle tranquilidad a quienes viven en zonas aledañas a la avenida Cervantes y a quienes transiten por ese sector ya que hemos notado que en el último tiempo ocurrieron algunos hechos que nos llevaron a tomar esta medida", dijo el secretario de Gobierno Rodrigo Buffa.
Del operativo participarán de manera coordinada todas las fuerzas de seguridad, tanto con puestos fijos como itinerantes.
"No es una persecución"
El funcionario detalló la medida "no tiene un fin persecutorio, sino que lo que se quiere es evitar el aglomeramiento excesivo de personas, el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas en el sector de la 'costanera', los ruidos molestos que se puedan ocasionar, accidentes de tránsito y demás cuestiones que hace a la seguridad de los ciudadanos".
Por último, Buffa valoró el hecho de contar en la ciudad con un Consejo Interprovincial de Seguridad Ciudadana "que nos permitió avanzar en este tipo de cuestiones para que los vecinos de San Francisco se sientan cuidados y que puedan circular de la mejor manera posible, ya sea que se dirijan a algún boliche a divertirse o que simplemente transiten por el sector".
Tras la polémica, capacitación en Tránsito
Luego de la detención de un inspector de tránsito de San Francisco, la municipalidad realizó un taller de capacitación para el personal afectado a esa área. No obstante, desde el Ejecutivo aseguraron que era una actividad programada desde antes del episodio ocurrido el pasado fin de semana que desató la polémica.
La tercera charla en el marco del convenio firmado entre el municipioy el Grupo Sancor Seguros tuvo lugar ayer en el Centro Cultural y contó con la disertación del responsable técnico de BBFA Seguridad Vial, Horacio Botta Bernáus quien capacitó a los agentes de la Policía Municipal de Tránsito.
Este tipo de acciones configuran "el punto de partida de tareas que debemos poner en marcha para generar condiciones más favorables del tránsito en nuestra ciudad", explicaron las autoridadesal analizar los nuevos desafíos en materia de seguridad vial.
En la tarde del miércoles, el agente de Tránsito Jorge Ponce (57), recuperó la libertad aunque sigue imputado por presuntamente ocasionar el grave accidente que sufrió un joven motociclista en la madrugada del domingo en el marco de un control de rutina en avenida Cervantes
