"Fue un antes y un después en mi vida"
Así describió la morterense Yanina Rista cómo la marcó su conexión con el mundo del running. "El deporte y la actividad física son fundamentales en la vida de cualquier persona", afirmó.
El caso de Yanina Rista es un claro ejemplo de que en muchas
ocasiones el deportista amateur es más aplicado y apasionado que quien realiza
una actividad profesional y recibe una remuneración a cambio.
La atleta nacida en la ciudad de Morteros, desde pequeña estuvo vinculada con el deporte, pero hubo un año que la marcó a fuego y fue el 2017, cuando comenzó a incursionar en el mundo del running. "Fue un antes y un después en mi vida", reveló Rista en diálogo con LA VOZ DE SAN JUSTO.
"Empecé a correr en junio del 2017, van a hacer ya cuatro años. En esa época hacía un tiempo que se me había despertado la curiosidad por las carreras y las maratones, veía en las redes sociales que publicitaban este deporte y que había un montón de gente que corría por las calles de las ciudades. Entonces empecé a hablar con personas allegadas a la actividad, que veía que salían a correr y se anotaban en carreras. En ese momento lo hablé con mi 'profe' de 'gym' y lo charlamos para tratar de organizar y ver cómo podía empezar a hacerlo", explicó.
"Entonces con el transcurso de los días empecé a avizorar una posible nueva actividad deportiva. Una persona, que solo conocía de vista, y que hoy es mi amiga y compañera runner, me dijo: 'Yani, la semana próxima se corre en Brinkmann la maratón del pueblo, no querés que vayamos a correrla?, son solo 5 kilómetros...' y asi fue como sucedió, corrí por primera vez 5k, lo cual me parecía muchísimo, y después nunca más pare. Fue un excelente comienzo. Fue un antes y un después en mi vida", admitió quien tiene una familia que la apoya en su pasión por correr.
Desde chica, ligada al deporte
Luego, quien es mamá de dos hijos, Santino y Catalina, habló del motivo por el cual comenzó a correr. "No sé si hay un motivo en particular, yo toda la vida estuve ligada al deporte, desde chiquita cuando tenía 7 años empecé a jugar al tenis y enseguida empecé a competir a nivel provincial y nacional, hasta los 15 años aproximadamente. Además siempre hice natación y fui al gimnasio. El deporte fue, es y será parte de mi vida, mientras mi cuerpo y mi mente me lo permitan. No me imagino una vida sin deporte. El running si me dio y me da una motivación extra, un nivel de adrenalina que hasta el momento no lo había experimentado. Me gratifica y me hace sentir plena".
Recuerdos inolvidables
"Participé en muchas carreras, soy una afortunada porque tanto mi familia como mi trabajo (tiene un comercio) me dan la libertad de poder ir y correr en muchos lugares. De cada carrera me llevo distintas experiencias, distintos sentimientos y emociones, cada carrera es única y no hay una igual a la otra, y son todas, para mí, tan significativas que valoro muchísimo todas las distancias, sean 5, 10, 21 o 42k", aclaró la morterense.
Al tiempo que valoró: "De todas me quedo con lo mejor y lo peor, porque además de disfrutar también se sufre, pero a todas las recuerdo con una gran admiración. Pero si tuviera que elegir una, la más importante o la más significativa, en realidad elijo dos: la Media Maratón de Buenos Aires, en agosto de 2018, porque además de ser mi primera media maratón, o sea la primera vez que corría 21k, fue la primera carrera grande por llamarla de algún modo... ese día quedé sorprendida y deslumbrada por el entorno, por la cantidad de corredores de todos lados del mundo, la cantidad de gente alentando que sin conocerte te tiran buenas energías y te empujan a seguir corriendo. Fue maravilloso. Nunca me voy a olvidar de cuánto disfruté esa carrera".
"Y por supuesto también elijo mi primera maratón, mis primeros 42,195 km, en junio de 2019. Fue un sueño hecho realidad, es la distancia madre a la que todo corredor anhela y lucha, trabaja y se entrena para lograrla. Y yo lo hice y fue muy emocionante, porque además de ser una carrera internacional, se hace en conmemoración al Día de la Bandera, entonces estar ahí al pie del Monumento a la Bandera y verla flamear en el momento de la largada, al ritmo de las voces de la gente que alienta y motiva... es realmente emocionante, no pude contener las lágrimas ese día", admitió.
El running, un pilar en su vida
"El running en mi vida es mucho, muchísimo. Ya es una parte de mí, es como un trabajo más, forma parte de mi rutina diaria. Confieso que, si bien como dije antes, toda la vida practiqué algún deporte, nunca me hubiese imaginado a los 45 años estar tan ligada así a esta locura de correr, sentirlo tan apasionadamente como lo siento y lo vivo. Y si bien lo hago de forma amateur, la responsabilidad y el compromiso con que lo asumí desde el primer día, hacen que sea eso, que sea parte de mi vida. El running es salud, es felicidad, es risas y charlas compartidas con otros corredores y amigos, es también disfrutar la soledad y encontrarse con uno mismo en cada kilómetro corrido. Es mi manera de vivir la vida", afirmó.
En tanto, al contar cómo transitó el año pasado donde la pandemia provocó la suspensión de todas las actividades deportivas, indicó: "El 2020 fue un año especial para todo el mundo. Como deportista, lo viví de manera distinta, pero no menos especial. La situación rara del 2020 nunca me hizo bajar los brazos, nunca pensé en dejar de entrenar por la pandemia, por no poder ir a competencias, o por no poder salir de mi casa, o por no poder cumplir con los objetivos propuestos. Traté de reinventarme y readaptarme a la nueva modalidad".
"El objetivo principal de 2020 era correr mi segunda maratón, esta vez en buenos aires, en setiembre, una de las más importantes de América Latina, para la cual ya estaba inscripta desde comienzos de año, y que finalmente se suspendió. Pero desde el momento que dieron a conocer la noticia de que la carrera no se realizaba, siempre me propuse seguir entrenando como si se hiciera y llegado el día, correrla igual, en mi ciudad, en morteros. Y si bien no la pude correr en la fecha en la que me había programado hacerla (por distintos motivos personales que surgieron en el momento), si pude correr mi maratón, mis segundos 42,185 km , en mi ciudad, en Morteros, el 20 de diciembre de 2020. Cerré el año de la mejor manera. Y hasta con medalla finisher que las genias de mis amigas runner me hicieron hacer", comentó.
"Además, al inicio del año y antes de que entremos en pandemia, tuve la suerte de haber participad en dos competencias, una carrera de 10k en San Antonio, en las sierras cordobesas, y el Triatlón de San Francisco. Por todo eso me siento más que agradecida y afortunada de haber podido estar en esas competencias y haber podido seguir entrenando con el mismo compromiso y dedicación de siempre", agregó.
Mucho entrenamiento
"Tengo un entrenador que me prepara un plan de running complementado con un plan de entrenamiento en el gimnasio, que consiste en tres sesiones semanales de running y tres de gimnasio, o sea son seis días a la semana los que entreno. Además, también voy al kinesiólogo una vez por semana y también hago sesiones con una psicóloga deportiva desde hace un tiempo. Y no me olvido tampoco del descanso y de la nutrición, que son pilares básicos y fundamentalmente parte del entrenamiento", describió Rista.
"Siempre entrené sola y lo disfruto mucho, me gusta y me da felicidad calzarme las zapas y salir sola. Pero también es bueno y reconfortante el fondo del fin de semana que casi siempre hago con amigos que también corren. Creo que la soledad del corredor forma parte de este deporte y poder disfrutarla es lo que hace que te guste entrenar, aunque también el compañerismo de los pares es muy gratificante en cada salida en grupo", enfatizó quien también tuvo la oportunidad de participar en un duatlón en Villa del Rosario, que fueron 2,5km corriendo, 20km en bici y luego volver a correr 5km para terminar.
Su meta para este año
"El objetivo principal de este 2021 es poder correr la Maratón de Buenos Aires que se suspendió el año pasado, y que ahora ya tiene fecha reprogramada para el 26 de septiembre. Y en el transcurso de los meses iré viendo que carreras aparecen, porque las competencias de calle aún están muy en 'stand by', las van anunciando sobre la fecha. Ahora estoy en plena pretemporada y entrenando a full", aseveró.
Finalmente, Yanina Rista dejó un mensaje acerca de la importancia que tiene realizar una actividad deportiva. "El deporte y la actividad física son fundamentales en la vida de cualquier persona, o deberían serlo. Todos, grandes y chicos, deberían tener el privilegio de disponer de tiempo necesario para hacer algo. A mí me lo inculcaron desde niña, mis padres, que me enseñaron el valor y la gracia de poder hacer un deporte y sentirse bien y sano. La recompensa a todo eso es impagable y la sensación del después de entrenar es difícil de explicar, es liberadora y de pura felicidad. Como ya dije antes, mi vida sin deporte no sería bien vivida, y la verdad deseo que a todos les pase lo mismo, recibo muchos mensajes de mucha gente que me dicen que se sienten motivados por mí y con ganas de hacer algo".
