Finalmente será juzgado el homicida de “Pilín” Breuza
El joven está acusado de matar al jubilado y luego incendiar su casa en barrio La Milka.
Luego de la suspensión de la audiencia de debate que debía comenzar el 10 de marzo del 2020, finalmente el 17 de febrero próximo comenzará el juicio a Diego Leandro Ezequiel Olmos (25), quien está acusado de matar a Hermenegildo "Pilín" Breuza (73), el 20 de mayo de 2019. Según la acusación, Olmos golpeó a Breuza con un elemento contundente y le prendió fuego a su humilde vivienda de calle Santa Fe 1350, en barrio La Milka, a los fines de borrar cualquier indicio que hubiera quedado en el lugar.
Al momento de ocurrir el grave hecho, Olmos se encontraba con libertad condicional ya que estaba cumpliendo una condena a seis años de prisión en la cárcel de la ciudad de Cruz del Eje.
El acusado de la muerte de Breuza fue detenido el día 24 de mayo de 2019 en la vivienda de sus padres, en calle Enrique Carrá 873, a solo 50 metros de la vivienda de la víctima.
Tras su detención, el fiscal de Delitos Complejos, Bernardo Alberione, lo imputó como presunto autor de "homicidio simple" y su defensa fue asumida por la asesora letrada Marcela Beccaría.
Recordemos que la audiencia, que luego se suspendió, se iba a realizar ante un tribunal unipersonal a cargo del vocal de la Cámara Criminal y Correccional de San Francisco Claudio Requena, y la acusación iba a ser sostenida por la fiscal de cámara Consuelo Aliaga Díaz.

El hecho
En la mañana del 20 de mayo de 2019, los bomberos voluntarios fueron alertados por el incendio de una precaria vivienda ubicada en barrio La Milka. Al lugar concurrieron dos dotaciones que luego de trabajar varios minutos lograron extinguir el fuego. Ya al realizar la remoción de escombros, los servidores públicos encontraron el cuerpo calcinado del único morador de la vivienda Hermenegildo "Pilín" Breuza, quien se dedicaba a recoger papeles, cartones y todo elemento que encontraba en la vía pública, y los almacenaba en el ingreso a la precaria vivienda. Eso dificultó la labor de los bomberos debido a la alta combustibilidad de los materiales.
Tras el hallazgo del cuerpo calcinado del septuagenario se le dio participación al fiscal Bernardo Alberione y éste dispuso que Policía Judicial trabajara en el lugar. También se hizo presente el médico forense Mario Vignolo, que tras una revisión ocular determinó que el hombre no había muerto por efecto del fuego, sino que tal vez se encontraba ya sin vida cuando comenzó el incendio. Además, al lugar fueron convocados peritos de la Dirección General de Bomberos de la Policía de la Provincia, quienes comprobaron que el inicio del fuego había sido intencional.
Comenzada la investigación, cuatro días más tarde se detuvo al presunto autor del homicidio y se conoció que Olmos días antes le había sustraído a la víctima una guitarra y que constantemente le solicitaba dinero.
