En El Ceibo no quedaron conformes con la postergación
Luego de la confirmación de que se postergó la quinta final de la Liga Provincial de Básquet, programada en principio para este viernes, los dirigentes de El Ceibo emitieron un comunicado dejando en clara su postura ante esta decisión.
En el comunicado se expresa: "En virtud de la notificación enviada en el día de la fecha donde la Mesa Directiva de vuestra institución dispone la reprogramación del quinto juego de la serie final de la Liga Provincial para el domingo, no podemos dejar de manifestar una profunda preocupación sobre el mecanismo aplicado en la toma de decisiones dado que el mismo no se ajusta a reglamento. El mismo indica que los clubes participantes deberían presentar una lista de "buena fe" de 25 jugadores, de los cuales con un mínimo de 10 en condiciones de jugar deberán afrontarlos compromisos establecidos".

"En ese sentido queremos
además dejar muy en claro que de ninguna manera es nuestra intención sacar una
ventaja deportiva por lo ocurrido, sino que consideramos que una determinación
de esta índole no se puede llevar a cabo de manera inconsulta y
unilateralmente, habida cuenta la expectativa de nuestra afición y de gran
parte de la comunidad de San Francisco y de los compromisos asumidos por
nuestra institución para afrontar este partido".
"Asumiendo nuestro permanente e histórico respeto institucional para la Federación debemos dejar en claro que Asociación El Ceibo no fue consultada en ningún momento, durante todo este proceso, ni mucho menos nuestro equipo de profesionales médicos pudo acceder a la documentación respaldatoria, ni a los certificados de los profesionales de la salud que dan cuenta del problema".
