El primer consultorio inclusivo en el Hospital Iturraspe, la otra lucha de la comunidad trans
El objetivo es cumplir con un derecho fundamental: ofrecer una atención adecuada y respetuosa de la salud de las personas transgénero, que las incluya en el sistema sanitario como también en otros ámbitos.

En respuesta a la demanda que fue visibilizada por la lucha del Centro Trans San Francisco, que reúne actualmente a unas 50 personas, en el Hospital"J. B. Iturraspe" se proyecta la implementación de un consultorio inclusivo para atender de manera integral la salud de las mujeres y hombres transgénero, además de otros integrantes de la comunidad Lgbtttiqa.
Profesionales del nosocomio comenzarán a capacitarse para brindar esa atención integral y más inclusiva de la salud pública, aunque todavía no hay una fecha establecida para la apertura de este consultorio que se encuentra establecido dentro del Programa Nacional de Salud Sexual y Reproductiva y dependerá de la Secretaría de Promoción y Prevención de la Salud de Córdoba.
Actualmente existen consultorios inclusivos en la ciudad de Villa María y en la capital provincial, en los hospitales Guillermo Rawson, Florencio Díaz, el Córdoba y el Príncipe de Asturias.
Antes de abrir el consultorio, los profesionales de la salud deben capacitarse ante una nueva práctica que surge en la atención de la comunidad transgénero, específicamente, la hormonización, si la persona desea llevarla adelante o no.
Pero también es necesario que el sistema entienda y se respete lo que dice la Ley 26.743 de Identidad de Género sancionada en nuestro país en diciembre de 2011, sobre los derechos y el acceso a la salud.
Un sistema que expulsa
Araceli Acosta y Karen Herrera dos mujeres trans que reclaman por su derecho de acceso a la salud, aseguraron que ya desde la sala de espera,"el sistema es 'expulsivo' para la diversidad sexual, porque hay discriminación, mucha desinformación y miedo".
Piden que se cumpla un derecho básico como la protección a través de los controles médicos para prevenir enfermedades o complicaciones."Siguen pasando estas cosas a ocho años de que se sancionó una ley", advirtieron.
Según Araceli, la mayoría de las personas trans se automedican para lograr la hormonización, incluso otras llegaron a inyectarse silicona líquida en el cuerpo. "No hay control ni la intervención de un médico porque no tienen acceso al dinero o a una cobertura para una intervención quirúrgica, se manejan con los saberes de la comunidad", advirtió.
La población trans debe recurrir a los hospitales públicos porque la mayoría no tiene obra social, ni cuenta con dinero para costear una institución privada.
"Hay mucha discriminación"
No hay capacitación al personal de salud para tratar a la población trans. Si bien hay una ley que la ampara, sufren maltrato por parte de los profesionales.
Karen, otra integrante del Centro Trans, contó: "Muchas veces las chicas van al médico y ni siquiera las revisan o las medican, no quieren tener un contacto físico con ellas. Una vez fui a un médico que me trataba siempre en masculino y eso es discriminación, creo que lo hacen con mala intención".
"Todavía hay mucha discriminación", sostuvieron y consideraron que esa discriminación se produce por falta de información y falta de contacto con la persona. "Muchos cuando entran en contacto con alguien trans se dan cuenta que es una persona más y que su condición sexual no tiene nada que ver. Hay mucho temor y siempre se los relaciona a la prostitución, las drogas, la delincuencia o a cosas turbias por eso se rechaza".

Hormonización y seguimiento
En el Hospital Iturarspe, la doctora Paulina Casale, la enfermera Verónica Bessone y la trabajadora social Carla Ghisolfi son las profesionales que comenzarán a capacitarse para la implementación del consultorio inclusivo.
Casale, ginecóloga, explicó que la capacitación es necesaria para el tratamiento de hormonización y seguimiento de las personas trans que quieran realizarlo. "Se trata de una nueva práctica por la cuestión hormonal, para todo lo demás en la salud, la persona se puede atender en cualquier consultorio", dijo.
Aclaró que las personas trans no necesitan una atención especial en la salud, pero sí un seguimiento. "Se deben evaluar muchas cuestiones en la persona que solicita hormonizarse para adoptar las características del género que va a expresar. No es solamente darle estrógeno a las mujeres trans y tetosterona al hombre trans. Hay una serie de variables y un seguimiento que hacer", aseguró la médica.
Añadió que aunque todavía no hay pruebas científicas de que el tratamiento de hormonización provoque daños o complicaciones en la salud,"debe ser algo controlado porque también implica un riesgo el uso de hormonas que pueden provocar problema en el hígado y otrosórganos. Se deben hacer análisis de laboratorio y distintos estudios en un protocolo como cualquier consultorio. Y aclaró que la hormonización se puede hacer de manera ininterrumpida pero la persona lo puede suspender en el momento que quiera".
Una mirada integral
Verónica Bessone y Carla Ghisolfi destacaron que es importante también la capacitación en lo que establece la Ley 26.723 respecto a la salud y la manera en que debe tratarse y registrarse a la persona según el género autopercibido.
"El consultorio trabajará desde la salud con una mirada integral pero siempre con perspectiva de derechos humanos y de género. Muchas veces viene una persona trans a internarse y surge la duda de en qué lugar alojarse, cómo se anota, hay confusiones", afirmaron.
Recordaron que todo eso está establecido en la ley, "a la persona la tienen que registrar, llamar y nombrar con el nombre que eligió según el género autopercibido. Por eso es importante la creación del consultorio donde se reforzará la información para que todos los profesionales hablemos el mismo idioma".
Una ley que ampara
El derecho a que las personas sean reconocidas y tratadas de acuerdo a la identidad de género autopercibida aunque sea menor de 18 años y no haya realizado el cambio de DNI o no haya recibido tratamiento de reasignación sexual.
Acceso a tratamientos hormonales o quirúrgicos de reasignación sexual en los centros de salud públicos o privados.
