El Leeds de Bielsa dio sorpresa ante Leicester
Leeds United, dirigido por el argentino Marcelo Bielsa, dio la sorpresa este domingo en la vigesimoprimera fecha de la Premier League de fútbol de Inglaterra con el triunfo ante Leicester City, uno de los mejores equipos del campeonato, por 3 a 1 en condición de visitante, tras dar vuelta el resultado.
Los goles del Leeds fueron convertidos por Dallas, a los 14 minutos del primer tiempo, y aumentaron Bamford y Harrison, a los 25 y 40 en la segunda parte. Burnes había abierto el marcador para Leicester, a los 12 del período inicial.
El triunfo del Leeds se definió en la segunda parte, cuando el equipo del "Loco" Bielsa fue efectivo y preciso.
Así, el conjunto visitante aprovechó los contraataques para sorprender al Leicester, uno de los animadores de la Premier League, que ocupa el cuarto lugar en las posiciones, detrás de los dos equipos de Manchester, el City y el United, y de Liverpool.
En tanto, Liverpool aprovechó el traspié de Leicester con la victoria ante West Ham por 3 a 1 como visitante (goles de Salah -2- y Wijnaldum) y se reinstaló en el podio de la Premier League.
El defensor del título acumuló la segunda victoria consecutiva y le sacó cinco de puntos de ventaja a su rival de este domingo, que tuvo al volante argentino Manuel Lanzini como suplente.
Por su parte Tottenham, con el ingreso del argentino Erik Lamela, perdió ante Brighton And Hove, con Alexis MacAllister como titular, por 1 a 0.
El equipo del portugués José Mourinho venía de perder con Liverpool y no pudo instalarse en zona de clasificación a las copas. Brighton continúa escapándose de la zona de descenso.
Por su parte, Chelsea derrotó 2 a 0 al Burnley en el Stamford Bridge de Londres.
