El Ersep autorizó aumento del 10,7% en tarifas de Epec
El incremento regirá desde los consumos de enero y se verá reflejado en las facturas de marzo. Duras críticas de la oposición.
Tras el pedido de la Empresa Provincia de Energía de Córdoba (Epec), el Ente Regulador de Servicios Públicos de Córdoba (ERSeP) dio ayer su aval a una suba del 10,7 % en las tarifas de para los usuarios de categorías residenciales que comenzará a aplicarse desde este mes de enero inclusive.
Dicho pedido había ingresado el jueves pasado luego de ser autorizado por el Centro Cívico, con el objetivo de "contribuir" a la recomposición debido a la falta de pago de gran parte de los usuarios durante la pandemia.
Se trata del primer aumento luego de un año sin subas, en donde el incremento de la tarifa rondará los 10,7%. Desde EPEC, se mostraron confiados en la decisión que tomará el directorio, en donde existe una mayoría de Hacemos por Córdoba.
El último aumento data de enero de 2020 en donde, en aquella oportunidad, el incremento había sido del 7,9%.
Desde la oposición, el vocal por el radicalismo dentro del directorio de Ersep Facundo Cortéz Olmedo opinó que es el aumento aprobado es "improcedente e inoportuno".
"Se va aprobar el aumento de los tres últimos trimestres del 2020, todo junto a partir de la publicación de la resolución que se dictará en los próximos días", dijo a Cadena 3.
"En el marco de esa decisión, no hay ninguna ponderación a la crisis económica por la que atraviesa la provincia de Córdoba y que se hace carne en cada uno de los usuarios y vecinos", agregó.
El funcionario criticó que no hubo audiencia pública, dado que el Ersep organiza una sola a fin de año para todos los incrementos.
Afirman que que no habrá mayores cortes este verano
Las empresas distribuidoras de energía eléctrica aseguraron hoy que se invirtieron más de $ 50.000 millones en 2020 en obras de mantenimiento y mejora de las redes, por lo que afirmaron que "no deben esperarse mayores cortes que los que resultan habituales en los días de altas temperaturas".
Así lo expresaron a través de la Asociación de Distribuidores de Energía Eléctrica (Adeera) en un comunicado en el que se destacaron las obras que se realizaron en el sistema eléctrico pese a las restricciones impuestas por la pandemia y el congelamiento tarifario.
"A la fecha, se puede asegurar que se logró prestar exitosamente el servicio en todas las jurisdicciones del país. Es así que entre todas las empresas invirtieron más de 50.000 millones de pesos en 2020, privilegiando las redes y su operación por sobre otras obligaciones", sostuvo la entidad empresaria.
En esa línea, agregaron que "las distribuidoras tomaron deuda y postergaron otras obligaciones para realizar obras de mantenimiento y mejora de las redes; esto implica que no deben esperarse mayores cortes que los que resultan habituales en los días de altas temperaturas".
"En el complejo escenario que trajo aparejada la pandemia, las distribuidoras de electricidad realizaron una gran cantidad de obras para mantener la calidad del servicio, acompañar la demanda y fortalecer el abastecimiento a hospitales y centros de salud", resaltaron.
Siendo un sector esencial, las prestadoras eléctricas afirmaron que "a la fecha, se puede decir que se ha logrado prestar exitosamente el servicio en todas las jurisdicciones del país".
Tras destacar las obras de mantenimiento y mejoras, las empresas también expresaron su preocupación por la eventual extensión del congelamiento de tarifaras.
