Darío Herrera dirigirá la final de la Copa Argentina
El árbitro Darío Herrera fue designado este viernes para controlar el partido final de la Copa Argentina 2021 entre Boca Juniors y Talleres de Córdoba, que se jugará el próximo miércoles 8 de diciembre a partir de las 21.10 en el estadio "Madre de Ciudades", de Santiago del Estero.
El juez será secundado por Juan Pablo Belatti y Pablo González como asistentes y cuarto y quinto árbitros serán Andrés Merlos y Facundo Rodríguez.
El "Xeneize" llegó a la última instancia del torneo, luego de derrotar el pasado 3 de noviembre a Argentinos Juniors por 1 a 0, en el estadio "Malvinas Argentinas", de Mendoza y Talleres venció a Godoy Cruz por 1 a 0, en el estadio Juan Gilberto Funes, de San Luis.
El equipo que resulte ganador del encuentro, clasificará a la próxima edición de la Copa Libertadores de América y también disputará la Supercopa aunque falta confirmar si será la correspondiente a 2020, que fue cancelada por la pandemia de Covid-19 o la de 2021.
El torneo comenzó el pasado 15 de enero con la Fase Preliminar Regional, donde participaron los 26 mejores equipos del Federal A.
Los trece clasificados de esa categoría se sumaron a los 51 clubes de Primera División, Primera Nacional, B, C y D. Los cruces de la fase final fueron por eliminación directa.
