Campazzo, el MVP de la Liga de España en la última década
El basquetbolista cordobés Facundo Campazzo, quien actualmente juega en los Denver Nuggets en la NBA, fue elegido como Jugador Más Valioso (MVP, por sus siglas en inglés) de la Liga Endesa de España en la última década al imponerse a su excompañero del Real Madrid, Sergio Llull.
La votación fue realizada entre fanáticos de la competición y Campazzo, quien había eliminado en semifinales a otro excompañero, Rudy Fernández, se llevó el 55,4% de los votos en una apretada pelea con Llull, que dejó en el camino a Luka Doncic.
"Increíble la muestra de cariño de estos días. Agradezco de corazón todos los votos que recibí! Me siento honrado por esta distinción y también por haber estado en la final junto a Sergi, un jugador al que admiro (y además un gran amigo)", explicó Campazzo, a través de su cuenta de Twitter, al hablar sobre el premio.
En tanto, el deportista argentino podría ser seleccionado para el All Star Game 2021 de la NBA, a pesar de que hace muy poco que juega en el certamen de los Estados Unidos.
Este evento todavía no está confirmado por la pandemia de coronavirus, pero en la jornada del jueves se abrió la votación que se extenderá hasta el próximo 16 de febrero.
