Campana se lamentó por jugar la final sin hinchas
El presidente de la Agencia Córdoba Deportes, Héctor Oscar Campana, destacó que "aunque se esperaba un estadio lleno hay una expectativa enorme" por la final de la Copa Sudamericana que Lanús y Defensa y Justicia disputarán el sábado en el estadio provincial Mario Alberto Kempes, sin la presencia del público.
"Sin dudas que la pandemia condicionó mucho lo que va a ser el espectáculo", lamentó el exbasquetbolista en una entrevista que concedió a Télam, a la vez que resaltó los trabajos que se realizaron en el recinto mundialista para la cita internacional.
"Estamos muy felices porque el estadio Kempes está cada día mejor. Las reformas que el Gobierno de la Provincia está realizando le dan un salto de categoría a nivel internacional y ponen a Córdoba en una posición de privilegio para recibir los mejores eventos", comentó el "Pichi".
Campana, además, consideró que "la vuelta del público será muy importante para lo que es la actividad gastronómica y de hotelería", algo que espera que ocurra en la Copa América a disputarse este año, cuando el Kempes sea sede de cuatro encuentros.
En ese sentido, la final del sábado fue tomada por las autoridades como "un desafío" ya que tendrá la presencia de veedores de Conmebol.
"Es una final argentina, la copa va a quedar en el país, uno hubiera querido que fuera con un estadio lleno, pero es lo que nos tocó", lamentó el funcionario.
"El Kempes está listo, ya mañana habrá reconocimiento de campo, y si bien será sin público se espera la presencia de unos 150 periodistas, y algunos invitados de las dirigencias de ambos clubes y familiares de jugadores, por lo que está todo en orden para recibirlos", comentó.
