Boca aplastó a River y gritó campeón
Con dobletes de Vallejos y Ojeda y otros tantos de Huber, Rodríguez y Benítez, el "Xeneize" se consagró con un 7-0 en cancha de Vélez para la historia: se llevó el primer título tras el inicio de la profesionalización del fútbol femenino.
Boca Juniors goleó este martes a River Plate por 7 a 0 en cancha de Vélez, en la final del Torneo Transición 2020, que consagró al equipo "Xeneize" como el primer campeón de la era profesional del fútbol femenino.
Las Gladiadoras se quedaron con el trofeo mayor en forma invicta y sin siquiera un gol en contra, en una temporada acortada por la pandemia, y dieron la vuelta olímpica después de ocho años, ya que su último título había sido en la edición 2013/14 del campeonato amateur.
Boca, el equipo dirigido por Christian Meloni, fue muy superior a todos los rivales que enfrentó y jugó una final perfecta para golear a su clásico rival y sumar su estrella número 24, la primera desde el que el fútbol femenino empezó su camino hacia el profesionalismo.
Los goles del partido definitorio fueron de Clarisa Huber, Yamila Rodríguez, Lorena Benítez, dos de Fabiana Vallejos y dos de Andrea Ojeda. Benítez, la futbolista del seleccionado argentino que trabaja en el Mercado Central de frutas y verduras, resultó la gran figura del campeonato.
Boca, por ser líder del torneo Rexona 2019/20 que se canceló por el coronavirus, y River, por ser finalista del Transición, serán los representantes argentinos en la Copa Libertadores de América que se jugará en marzo, en Deportivo Morón.
