Atenas no pudo con Regatas en la LNB
El "Griego", con la participación de los sanfrancisqueños Máximo Araujo y Alejo Andrés, más el freyrense Gastón Córdoba, cayó 92-77 frente al conjunto correntino.
Atenas (7-15), con minutos en cancha de los sanfrancisqueños Araujo y Andrés, como así también del alero de Freyre Gastón Córdoba, tropezó este lunes frente a Regatas Corrientes (15-8), que se impuso 92 a 77, en un partido válido por la fase regular de la Liga Nacional de Básquetbol (LNB).
El encuentro se desarrolló en el estadio "Templo del Rock", del club Obras Basket, en Buenos Aires, y tuvo los siguientes parciales: Regatas 27-21, 55-39, 71-65 y 92-77.
Araujo, saliendo desde el banco, estuvo 14 minutos dentro del rectángulo de juego y sumó 2 puntos (1/5 en dobles) más 1 rebote. Por su parte Andrés, solamente ingresó 54 segundos y terminó con la planilla en blanco. Mientras que el "Gringo" Córdoba jugó 24 minutos y aportó 4 unidades (1/1 en dobles, 0/2 en triples y 2/2 en libres) más 3 rebotes.
En el conjunto cordobés, lo mejor llegó de la mano del perimetral Federico Mansilla, con 18 unidades, 3 recobres y 2 asistencias.
En tanto, en el quinteto "remero", que conduce el DT Lucas Victoriano, se destacaron Juan Arengo (21 puntos, 7 rebotes y 4 asistencias) y el interno Tayavek Gallizzi (21 tantos y 2 rebotes).
De este modo, Regatas, que sumó su segundo éxito en hilera (venía de doblegar al puntero Quimsa de Santiago del Estero), trepó a la sexta colocación.
En otro encuentro de la jornada, en el gimnasio "Héctor Etchart" de Ferro, Olímpico de La Banda (12-11) doblegó a Oberá TC de Misiones (6-16), por un ajustado 83 a 78.
En el conjunto santiagueño, el experimentado ala pivote Diego Guaita (ex-San Isidro) firmó una planilla con 19 puntos y 8 rebotes.
Mientras que en el elenco misionero se lucieron el interno extranjero Anthony Kent, con 14 puntos y 12 rebotes, además del base bahiense Nicolás Paletta, quien terminó con 15 tantos, 6 asistencias y 4 rebotes.
