Paro de bancarios para evitar el cierre de un centenar de sucursales
Si bien de las sucursales que el Santander Río quiere cerrar no hay ninguna de la seccional San Francisco, en nuestra ciudad y Morteros adherirán a la medida de fuerza.
La Asociación Bancaria dispuso la realización de un paro nacional de actividades para mañana, jueves 2 de diciembre, en todas las sucursales del país del Banco Santander.
En nuestra región, la medida de fuerza contempla a unos 15 trabajadores entre las dos sucursales, en San Francisco y Morteros. Cabe aclarar que de las sucursales que el Santander Río quiere cerrar, no hay ninguna de la seccional local.
La medida fue decidida por las autoridades sindicales en un plenario, en función de que esa entidad crediticia "quiere cerrar 100 sucursales", dijo Marcos Quaglino, secretario general de la Seccional San Francisco de ese gremio.
"A esa preocupante situación se suma que ese banco no quiere pagar un bono a los trabajadores que habitualmente hace efectivo en esta época", agregó.
Desde la Bancaria reconocieron que hay preocupación "porque quieren avanzar en la tercerización de servicios. En este proceso, están ofreciendo permanentemente retiros voluntarios que sabemos que no son tan voluntarios, porque hay presiones encubiertas".
"Está claro que el objetivo es el cierre de sucursales en todo el país. Estamos hablando de 100, que es una enormidad y pese a que el Banco Central no autorizó, ellos siguen insistiendo", agregó el gremio.
El Santander tiene en la Argentina 404 sucursales.
