¿La amistad para las mujeres significa lo mismo que para los hombres?
Una amiga es una extensión de una misma sobre la que se deposita la confianza como en ninguna otra persona. En este Día del Amigo, la psicóloga Nebila Cavallo marcó diferencias que la misma ciencia confirma.
Tener amigas, para las mujeres no implica ni significa lo mismo que para los hombres. Las amistades femeninas, las amigas, son algo muy importante en la vida de nosotras. Las mujeres hablamos de cosas diferentes cuando nos juntamos, profundizamos más en nuestras conversaciones.
Una amiga es la que está siempre y para todo, desde ir de compras, dar una palara de aliento para el corazón roto, hasta cuidar los hijos.
Con esa amiga del alma o algunas pocas, la relación se funda en un alto nivel emocional con elevada exigencia de amor. La ciencia lo confirma. La presencia de oxitocina en el cerebro femenino, la hormona que favorece el cuidado y la atención por los demás, construye vínculos de empatía difíciles de romper.
"La amistad es uno de los vínculos más importantes en la vida de una mujer porque en ella se deposita algo más que cariño. Es ese ser de extensión que nos escucha, con quien no ponemos tapujos al hablar y detallamos nuestras vivencias", aseguró la psicóloga sanfrancisqueña Nebila Cavallo (M.P. 10.586).
Para ello, en una relación de amistad de mujeres "deben primar la confianza, la complicicdad, la empatía, la paridad y por sobre todo, el amor", agregó.
Ellos vs. ellas
Cavallo señaló que hay algunas diferencias notorias entre las formas de amistad entre los hombres y las mujeres. "La primera y gran diferencia que tenemos con los varones es la cantidad de amigos que tienen uno y otro. Mientras que los grupos de hombres suelen ser más numerosos, en el caso de las mujeres hay subgrupos dentro del mismo grupo o bien las amigas son contadas con los dedos de una mano", expresó Cavallo.
Los muchachos comen un asado, juegan al fútbol o comparten una salida pero una mujer encuentra en la otra algo más que compañía o un buen momento. "La mujer es algo más que amiga; es compañera de compras, psicóloga, asesora de modas y la persona a la que le dejaríamos el cuidado de nuestros hijos. Hay un lazo más intenso, casi inquebrantable", se explayó.
Otra diferencia entre hombres y mujeres es que en cuestiones de cariño, nosotras tendemos a medir cuánto recibimos. "Los hombres no se detienen en nimiedades, con un vínculo de confianza sincero les basta. Nosotras, al ser detallistas y competitivas, solemos medir el amor a través de las emociones", agregó Cavallo.
Esa intensidad emocional tiene un fuerte peso cuando se desata un conflicto en la amistad. "Por esa forma de sentir, la amistad de la mujer es más intensa a nivel emocional. Por eso el esfuerzo de mantenerla y sostenerla es mayor aún que la del hombre", sumó.
Conexión que sana
Todo ser humano tiene la necesidad genética de "conectar" con los demás, de construir vínculos basados en la empatía y el reconocimiento.
Según la ciencia, la elevada presencia de oxitocina en el cerebro femenino, que favorece el cuidado y la atención por los demás, hace que las relaciones entre ellas se potencie y que la amistad regule miedos y se consiga una complicidad reconfortante. "Una amiga es ese otro tan igual o tan distinto pero que necesitamos para sentir que la vida es más fácil si la tenemos al lado", concluyó la psicóloga.
